Grand Buffet

I've been here several times over the years. I recently went back after I heard that they were like other small businesses dealing with the effects of the pandemic. During my most recent visit, which was for lunch on a Saturday, I thought the overall quality of the food was very good. Compared to many of the other Chinese buffets in Bergen County, they always stood out since the food tasted fresher. I also like the fact the food here isn't nearly as greasy or salty as other area Chinese buffets. Even the hibachi was not salty and they also took care when we requested less seasoned food for our kid. Even the ice cream machine had decent quality soft serve. The service here is always very friendly. It was no different this time. I am not sure why some people say the value is an issue. It was only $13.95 for lunch on Saturday and $4.95 for my kid. Given the relative food quality and the overall experience, I thought it was a very fair price. I also like how they keep this place pretty clean and gloves are used when getting food. I also didn't notice food being refreshed at a noticeably slow clip. Overall this place is a good choice if you're into Chinese buffets in general.

The place looks clean and nice. However, the dinner’s price is too high for the amount of food they have here. Also, in the hibachi the flavors are very simple. They don’t even offer to add salt or anything that adds a little bit more of flavor. The sushi is regular too. It’s fresh but too veggie. In general, the place is good but too pricey for the little amount of food that they offer.

Where do I even begin? I absolutely LOVE this restaurant! I have been going here since about 2002. I've gone here with friends, family, co workers, and it was ALWAYS a great time. The food is beyond amazing, the entire staff is incredibly friendly, and it's a very clean and organized restaurant. I wish I was there right now! VERY highly recommend going here!

23$ per person ridiculous price for THEIR service. Shoves the check in front your face while your still eating! Rude servers. Servers ask you multiple times for drinks that are not what i’m drinking. Horrible food . Dessert tastes like processed cake and cookies, not fresh. Not coming back here again!
