Great service and great food. Ran into this place and was overwhelmed by the quality of the ingredients. They source a lot of their stuff locally. I started out with the bacon bloody Mary and my wife tried the flight of beers. I got the Ham Benny, my wife got a Waldorf salad and my kids got the French toast. A friend got the pulled pork skillet which included pulled pork on a bed of potatoes and eggs. Another friend got avocado toast that she said was incredible. The ham benny was served on a huge homemade biscuit with kale, fresh cut ham, poached eggs and hollandaise with a side of potatoes. The biscuit was great, I was skeptical about the kale but it was delicious. Loved the ham and the potatoes were cooked to perfection. I would definitely order it again. The French toast required no syrup, a true testament to a quality product. If pancakes or French toast are not good my kids will drown it with syrup, this required none. My friend mentioned the fact that the French toast was served in a bowl, we thought this was strange but we also noticed that the French toast stayed warm the entire meal, we wonder if this is the proper way to serve French toast. Waldorf salad was delicious, the chicken that came on it was hand battered. Service was excellent and everybody in the restaurant seemed very friendly. Not a huge place, so it felt very homely. We will definitely go here again.
This is a little gem in Ramona. Excellent meal all around. Service was friendly and attentive. Bruschetta had a unique spin with pear, arugula, prosciutto, & ricotta. Meals were all highly enjoyed. Pulled pork piled high on the sandwich. Pulled pork mixed throughout the Mac n Cheese (not just sprinkled on top). Grilled caprese and tomato bisque was top notch, too. You could tell everything was made to order. Outdoor patio seating is dog friendly. Will return.
Their drinks and food are amazing. Staff are wearing masks. Service is always great. Plentiful plates of food. Always a pleasure dining here!
Stopped by for lunch today as we were in the area. I ordered fish and chips which were quite good. My wife had Mahi Mahi tacos and fries with a bloody Mary. Tom our server was quite efficient and personable. They offer a very nice menu selection and their meats are procured locally. Great place, food and people.
Check them out!
Was bummed that the 2 or 3 items on saw on their website they didn't have. So I ordered the bruschetta that sounded amazing and they apologized that they didn't have the bread for that... I ended up with the caprese grilled cheese and tomato soup. It was really good but wasn't a fan of the tomato in the sandwich. Their chocolate mousse cake was really good but I wouldn't order the butterscoth pudding again. My son wasn't a fan of the chicken tendors.
We had a brunch for a large group. The service started slow but eventually caught up. The biscuit was really good. Their homemade butter especially espresso butter was really good.
The portion sizes were big.

Great food. Desserts are soo good. Triple P fries are a MUST. Really goood selection of local ales and wines. Food is soo good. Marinade on Main small farm to table restaurant. Small intimate place.
I was in the area and searched farm to table restaurants. Marinade on Main popped up so we stopped in. The restaurant itself is very cute. The waitress greeted us right away and took our drink order. Our drinks were brought out in mason jars adding to the cuteness. We ordered the Peach & Prosciutto Bruschetta and Our Amazing Mac & Cheese to start. I have never tasted a bruschetta like this. The crispy bread, creamy goat cheese, the peach and everything else... mmmm so delicious and the mac & cheese well the name says it all, amazing. I ordered the Portobella Burger and my sister had the chef special. Two chicken thighs on top of country potatoes with a gravy & brussel sprouts. Both were delicious. Then we each ordered a dark chocolate pistachio with sea salt cookie to go. Which did not disappoint. The service was wonderful. Parking is limited, but the food and service is worth a short walk down the street.
