We were looking for something different than our normal offerings but we waited late before going out. We arrived just in time to see the "Open" sign go out but there were people standing inside. My sister walked toward the door and a worker asked if we wanted to order and we happily said yes. They were quick and the food was hot and delicious! Thanks for staying open 10 more minutes to accommodate us Great China! We appreciate that special touch of customer service.

I’ve been ordering from here for years. I’ve never had a problem with my food or service. I always order 4 wings and fried rice. When my mom comes into town she always wants to order from here.
My first time here....
So I tried the nearby Panda Wok yesterday and the Sesame Chicken was better at Great China today. The fry batter was better at PW though. Here, the fried coating on it was pretty much instantly turned to mush. And I dined in, so there wasn't any time for it to be good, crispy batter and then turn bad. Because of the instantly soggy breading, I doubt I'll ever get this entree again.
But, that was the only bad news. The PW chicken was heavily freezer burned, while this was not. It was tender enough and not gristle-y. The sauce tasted nice, and the fried rice.. it was pretty standard, but I did like it better than Panda.
Portion size was very generous. I'm a big guy and I went in hungry, and I could have easily have stopped with a half eaten entree and side and been satisfied.
With half a dozen tables, and a floor layout that goes long instead of wide, it feels pretty cramped. But I expect that most that come here are for the take-out.
Staff was friendly. Food was not made fast, but was reasonable enough for me not to complain.
Yes, this is one of those usual Chines places that has the faded lit up pictures of the entrees up in the menu area. That same one page paper menu with a zillion types of similar dishes.
I do plan on returning to try some more of their stuff.
As a plus, as of 2020/3/17, Coldstone Creamery is a 40 ft walk away ... for dessert!
Not too bad for "strip-mall" Chinese food. Good prices, good portions and decent flavor. Service is quick and accurate, haven't had a complaint so far. It's super convenient for grab and go during my lunch break and a lunch special sesame chicken has enough on it to fill me up (or make quick leftovers for dinner) Love this little place!
It's a very decent Chinese take out. I love the orange beef! They are always fast and responsive. Portions are huge!
Very stingy. In NYC if you spend more then a certain amount usually like 50 then you get a free sweet tea or 2 deoending on what exactly you are spending. Here you have to fight with them to get that. As if it didnt cost them .30 to make the tea
This is my second time eating from this restaurant. My husband told me about it. I had to place an order the next day. The guy at the front desk is very friendly. The food is fresh! The price is good. I ordered the mixed vegetables with fried tofu. The tofu remained crunchy. And the spring rolls have a lot of flavor. Even the fortune cookie taste fresh! This is now my favorite restaurant ❤️
Good food. Good service. I get an item off what I call their secret menu. It’s called Ho Fun/Ho Fan/Chow Fun (call it whichever you like!) is made by lightly stir-frying wide rice noodles together with some vegetables, sometimes some protein like beef, and with extra stir-fry sauce. It’s the bomb!
I've been living in Brier Creek for the past 7 years. I love coming to this place, the cashier is always courteous and prompt. His attitude is always great! The food is always right and on point in a timely manner!
It's hard to find a place that cooks great Mei Fun. If you like that dish, this is a great place to get it. They will customize it to certain extents for you. It's always delicious. Their egg rolls are good. The spring rolls are not as good. Everything else has been wonderful whenever we go and that is often.
