First time dining here and will definitely come back again for more! We got chips and salsa, tacos de canasta, and the 13th taco (Tacos Campechanos). First of all, the presentation was beautifully done so I was so excited even before taking the first bite. Tacos de canasta was brought out in a bamboo steamer which was pretty unique.
And I gotta say, they did not disappoint with the flavors. Both tacos tasted amazing. They were definitely more fusion style compared to your everyday tacos but they really added unique flavor and twist. The hard taco had perfectly crunchy shell with juicy fillings in. Both tacos were very juicy so get so it did feel a bit heavy towards the end of the meal. I think it might also be because I didn’t pair it with any drinks. The corn that came as a side was also super delicious, but I wished it was served a bit warmer. Chips and salsa were also good. Salsa was pretty garlicky which I was a big fan of.
The owner and staffs were all so sweet and our server was super helpful with picking out our menu. Will definitely comeback to try out other menus

I recently visited 13 Tacos and Taps and had an incredible experience! The juicy chicken taco and succulent beef birria were definitely the highlight of the meal - absolutely delicious. But that's not all - the fusion menu they offer is truly outstanding. I also have to mention that the servers were extremely knowledgeable and super attentive, which really added to the overall experience.
The beans that came with my meal were some of the best I've ever had, and I couldn't get enough of them! But the real standout feature of 13 Tacos and Taps was their "Chefs Corner." This is a cute spot that you can reserve a week ahead of time and create your own 3 course or 4 course menu by consulting with the chef (priced at around 60-85$ per person). It's an amazing opportunity to customize your meal and have a truly unique dining experience.
Overall, I would highly recommend 13 Tacos and Taps. The food is fantastic, the servers are top-notch, and the Chefs Corner is a must-try. I will definitely be coming back for more food in the future. 5 stars
This was my 1st time eating here but it will not be my last. The food was delicious and the service was great 😊. I was taken care of by Brittany and Mary. Those ladies were attentive and friendly. The owner/chef even came over to check in on me. Thanks for the great food and service. 🌟
Really fantastic taco shop!! We got the shrimp and mahi tacos and both were incredible. Creative plating, delicious flavors, and really well-paired sauces. For sides, the cauliflower is phenomenal and even better than the very good Brussels sprouts. The staff were also super friendly — just a great vibe overall. We’ll be back!
Ordered the surf and turf burrito with cauliflower side. This burrito was seriously huge with tons of steak and shrimp. If it were not so delicious I would have had a harder time finishing it. Washed it down with a couple of good local brews. Awesome.
First Visit. Lunch Reservation. I will say that I was skeptical about going to taco places like this. They seldom impress me for the prices. However, 13 Tacos & Taps delivered! Everything was fresh and flavorful. On top of that the service was great! They even took the time to read my reservation request. That hardly ever happens. Can't wait to come back for dinner and a Margarita!
The combination of flavors are just phenomenal!! You can taste and enjoy every bite of if. We tried the surf and turf burrito and the sauce was incredible, the moo moo and special tacos were so delicious. The trees leches cake one of a kind! I mean everything was delicious. The chef came to check on us, that says a lot about the CS and how much he cares and loves what he does! He even got a little treat for my daughter! We will be back again for sure! Everything was on point !👏👏
This is my favorite taco spot in Raleigh! It’s not typical street style but they are amazing! This is the shrimp and grits taco! I would have never guessed it would work out, but it did! They’ve had me every since! All the flavors paired well together and they also have some great tequila mules! Please check them out!
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal! We drove from Morrisville to try somewhere new and were not disappointed. The menu is creative and delicious. A surprise stand out favorite of my meal was my side of rice! It was so flavorful and I’m so glad I picked it for my side. Looking forward to returning when we’re in the area again. Service was 10/10
This local small business is honestly a gem!
I’d been wanting to try this place for a while and I’m glad we finally did. We got there just in time; place filled up quickly after we arrived! Excellent staff, friendly owners - always makes a great place better! Food is EXCELLENT - flavorful, authentic. Great beer selection (but only 6 taps not 13! There are 13 taco choices!). Solid place and can’t wait to try all the tacos.
