Absolutely the best place we have been to eat since moving to Raleigh 3 years ago. We will definitly be back! Danny, the owner, was very interactive and attentive. Made you feel like family! The entire staff was friendly and the food... simply amazing and authentic! Made with love and passion!
Best Italian food in Raleigh. Calamari melted in your mouth and the sauce was to die for. All fresh ingredients with lots of flavor.
Tucked away in a strip mall, this delightful little Italian restaurant had a much more relaxed and intimate environment than I was expecting.
The menu offers a wonderful selection of traditional Italian dishes, they also have a full bar that produces a very good Old Fashioned. With such a consistently serene environment throughout the dining room, there is no bad seat in the house.
Sit back and enjoy a good drink to go with the warm focaccia bread while you peruse the many entrees on the menu. I especially found the four cheese stuffed shell with meat sauce absolutely delightful. The rich house made meat sauce combined with the fresh cheese blend is a match made in heaven.
I look forward to returning in the future in order to try their pizza. Cheers!

It was of those days that you don’t have time to make dinner although you want something with real ingredients, that would be nice to eat for dinner. We’ve eaten dinner at Dante’s before although we dined in. Our experience dining in was excellent and their food is tasty like a homemade meal. This particular evening, the gal that answered the phone directed me towards the meatball pizza and I thought sure I’ll try that. Upon opening the box it was such a nice surprise to taste a big beautiful medium crust that was crisp and chewy, kind of a little bit Chicago a little bit in New York.. The pizza had sliced, meatballs, and cheese melted perfectly.
Try it out. I think you’ll love it. It was more expensive than going to the pizza place nearby but well worth it.
The food and service was amazing. Way better than Olive Garden and even better than Gravy downtown. The price, not so much. If the entrees were more like $15 each instead of $20-25 I would say this place is a hidden gem. Not what I expected at a restaurant in a grocery store strip mall. Pleasantly surprised for the most part, other than the "sticker shock".
Had a wonderful dining experience! Did not have a reservation, but Danny and his staff made every accommodation to make our evening special.

Food is authentic and amazing.
I ordered the Pollo Scarpariello and a side Ceasar.
The Pollo dish was amazing. At first it looked like some deviation from a stroganoff, but the flavor of the sauce quickly shut that thought down.
There was so much complexity to the sauce and the sausage was amazing. I could taste each of the spices in the sausage. It almost reminded me of a bratwurst. It was delicious. The chicken wasn't anything special.
I dinged the atmosphere just because where I sat was an area between the door and hostess stand. There were people often a foot or two to my left in line waiting.
But the location isn't a huge location and they make it work well.
I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic Italian food.
Nice, small community feel. Good Italian dishes, with wide selections. Helpful, friendly staff. They help each other. We visited for the first time and really enjoyed it. You won't go wrong here.
We picked up dinner (cheese pizza, grandmas pie, and frutti di mare + side salad) Everything was hot and delish.(I would not order the salad again, quite small and lots of lettuce.) The service was great. We will be back!
Reservations are worth making as the place is tiny and was a bit crowded for a Tuesday. Food is excellent and portions are generous.
Unpretentious strip mall Italian restaurant featuring pizzeria classics. Service is excellent and the restaurant is comfortable. Food was very good!
This restaurant is a dream. From the time I walked in until the time I left, the hospitality of the employees was excellent. I was greeted upon arrival and sat immediately at the bar. The bartender (Alex, I think?) was knowledgeable, courteous, and offered several recommendations for our meal. The specials were exquisite. The atmosphere was calm & intimate.
I don’t live nearby but I would go out of my way to come eat here. I will be back, for sure!
