I have been going there with my mom and grandmother since I was 8 and the food has never been bad at all. The more I go it seems the better better the food gets. I try go there as much as I can cause you can’t beat the prices and how much food they give you. I recommend this place to to anyone!!
Had a very fresh and wonderful 2 pcs. Combo. Trout and popcorn shrimp. Not a lot of natter and had just been cooked. No heat lamp food that's soggy. Recommend to everyone.
The best fried seafood in Raleigh, and the guy who's always at the counter is so friendly.
Not much on ambience, but nobody seems to mind!
This is the regular-size Pick 2 lunch combo -- oysters and scallops. Delicious and perfectly cooked, as always.
If you’re likely to be surprised by ALL deep fried menu AND large portions; consider sharing. The hush puppies were a delightful discovery for a tourist. Family friendly and great wheelchair access and parking.
Great food and the portions are big! The price was good! Really no complaints. I would suggest better signs leading the way to find it. I had a little trouble. Other than that everything was great!
Such a great place. The food is impeccable, the staff is friendly, and the tea is sweet. Fresh seafood prepared expertly and competitively priced. Building is styled like a coastal warehouse and adds to the experience. Well, well worth the search to find this gem.
Great seafood spot located right at the NC State Farmer's Market in Raleigh. They only have fried food here but have at least been talking about broiled options for over a year. Fried food is good though, we usually get jumbo shrimp (regular size are just too small), fried flounder, fried scallops and fried clam strips. Everything comes with hush puppies and cole slaw, both are ok but nothing to write home about. Drunks are unlimited and only $2 so very reasonable. For 2 regular plates and drinks we spent about $40. Line is usually long but goes very fast, you can have your food in about 15 minutes.
Lots of seafood for your money! Delicious house platter! I will return for other tasty seafood. Could use a better system to order your food.
If you like fried seafood, this is the place! The staff was friendly, the place was busy, and the food was delicious. Shrimp, flounder, scallops, oysters, hush puppies and a little slaw filled the styrofoam container. My wife and I split the Captain's plate and we had enough left over to make another meal! Will definitely return!
This was a really cool surprise place! My bf got oysters and shrimp and I got the sampler and it was delicious! Too much there but it heated up great in the air fyer that night! Everyone was so friendly! We will return!
Great food fast. Lunchtime is busy yet they take care of their patrons rapidly with smiles on their faces. You feel appreciated. All tables are clean, as they are vacated the staff immediately cleans them as well as the benches.
The menu is obviously seafood, you have choices and everything is prepared well, very tasty and LOTS of it!
We enjoy going to NC Seafood while shopping at Farmers Market, it's a favorite.
Great seafood! If you get the shrimp, be sure to get the Jumbo 🦐. Lightly breaded. No servers here, order at counter and wait for your number to be called. This makes it faster and no tip:) Seating is picnic tables. When it's busy it's common for people to share tables which are large.
