This Metro Diner was pretty good. There was no wait, and we were greeted and seated immediately.
Black coffee was hot and fresh! The staff was friendly, attentive, and professional. Most of our meal was delicious. I wouldn't choose the pumpkin waffle again because it tasted a bit sour.
The bathroom was pretty clean and well stocked.
Ive had food from here two times now. First time, I did a pickup order of the Steak Bowl and Chicken and Waffles. They forgot my Steak and Scramble Bowl but the Fried Chicken and Waffles with the strawberry butter was really good. They did give me cash refund for the bowl that they forgot. Second time, I had a sit-down order of the Turkey plate and Shrimp and Grits. The service was a bit slow initially but it got better. The food was amazing as before.
We went for breakfast during the week and it wasn’t crowded at all.
The chicken was really good! The waffles were nice and fluffy, but a tad dry. The grits were good and so was the turkey sausage.
I will definitely go again to try some of the other menu items.
There was a wait, but the popularity it attests to was well-earned. The service and the quality of the food were both wonderful, and it's a very positive and welcoming atmosphere. I'm glad that we chose this spot while we were in town. My wife and I loved our omelets, and the biscuits and gravy reminded me of what grandma used to make. Well done!
Visited Saturday morning when the wait time was 35 minutes. Enjoyed the pumpkin pancakes. They were busy but worked very hard to service customers in a reasonable time.. Staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy the environment based upon how well they worked together and conversed.

I sat down with my good friend, we had a southern and hearty meal. The waitress was fantastic, She told me she was from the Bronx originally. The hot sauce honey concoction was delectable. The fluffy whipped strawberry butter in moderation was very quite good as well. I'll be back when I'm in town
I've been wanting to come to this place for the last year! It was well worth the wait! I had an maple bacon pancake(seasonal item). It was nice and crispy on the edges and pillow set in the middle with bacon baked all throughout the pancake. The grits was cooked to perfection! No salt or pepper needed. My niece had a cinnamon roll pancake which was just as good! My sisters had a delicious Croissant French toast and my daughter had a Berry waffle with Blueberries cooked throughout. Everyone enjoyed their meals!! We had great service from Kourtney! The young lady that sat us had a great personality. I will definitely be back in the future!
The 30-minute wait was worth waiting for. Chicken and waffles were great. The waffles melt in your mouth complimented with strawberry butter. The chicken was in abundance OMG but so good. The Southwest bowl it was well balanced with flavored. Fluffy eggs. Food colorful. Recommend add a splash of hot sauce to kick up the salsa. Food served in large portions. Service. Coffee good and plenty. Server was very attentive. Reasonably priced.
Nice and quiet. Nice relaxing music. Ordered the breakfast burger with purple onion, side of fresh fruit, Arnold palmer(lemonade & ice tea), and a mimosa. The breakfast burger was out of this world. Crispy bacon and well cooked burger, very delicious. No complaints at all definitely be back here.
This was my first visit and definitely not my last. We arrived around 1230 on a Saturday and were told we'll have a 30 min wait. Fortunately, we only waited about 5 mins. Our waitress was nice and friendly and attended to us quickly. I ordered the chicken and waffles and a mimosa. I fell in love with the first bite of my chicken. You get plenty of chicken, which includes a leg, wing, thigh, and breast with a dipping sauce that's very good. The chicken was crispy and tasty 😋 The waffles and strawberry butter were delicious. My boyfriend enjoyed his meal as well. We left full and satisfied, I can't wait to go back. Service was awesome!
