The food, service, and atmosphere were all phenomenal here. I sat in the bar area and was served by a really helpful and attentive waitress. It had the vibe of a high-end steak house, and it was a great spot to sit and have a conversation. I ordered the NY Strip rare (because "Only one life, 'twill soon be past," am I right?), and it was amazing. It wasn't overly seasoned or charred, like at most steakhouses. I also got the Old Fashioned, which was delicious. I could also get passionate about the bread bowl that they started out with, which had a selection of four different breads. Legendary.

Wow what an experience, to start my wife and I the Lobster and Crab Cake. It was delicious 🤤, it had a hint of spice to it. For the sides we had the Lobster Mac and Cheese, Spinach and Garlic, and the Soy Grazed Brussels Sprouts with Bacon. My wife got the filet mignon and I got the Aged New York strip. The sides were all amazing besides the spinach and garlic was bland. But the other sides were phenomenal. My wife and I both agreed that our steaks were also cooked to perfection and very flavorful. Steven & Bryan's service was great. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves here. The experience was a 10 out of 10.
Really solid date spot, while at first, I was going to give it something like a 3.8 for food, they really kicked it up a notch for service. My fiancé and I both got the kona steak (which was solid), but as she is recently pregnant she ended up getting nausea from the stronger smell. They immediately replaced her steak with a regular steak, and gave a free order of calamari on top. They even remembered to congratulate us at the end on our child.
Again, food was good, but service was incredible. Her heart was very warm from this experience. Glad they take care of pregnant ladies here.
The Capital Grille has been the best experience so far in Raleigh. We loved everything that we were presented. Firstly they started us off with several different types of breads which were all very tasty and unique. We got a Caesar salad and the dressing was delightfully acidic and had great balance. We then got our two entrees which was the filet mignon and the chicken breast with Risotto. These were packed with lots of flavor and was exactly what I was expecting from this restaurant. For sides we got the lobster Mac and fries. The fries were super crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. Our favorite was the lobster Mac, the sauce was very unctuous and creamy and had huge chunks of lobster. Overall it was a legit 10/10, we loved every bit of our experience and will be back!
First time here and we were not disappointed. It was our Anniversary and we decided to do “The Generous Pour” option to pair with the foods. Great wines at a good price. Started with cold seafood platter which was awesome. Sliced fillet, 22 oz ribeye and two sides were prepared perfect to our liking. Obviously we could not finish but they brought out an amazing desert on the house. All this and top shelf service by Kenny and Ryan. Try it for a special occasion. You will not be disappointed. 👍🍷😊
We made our Second visit here and man oh man, somehow it was even better than our first visit!!!........EVERYTHING was SUPER AGAIN!!
Chef's special Bone in Ribeye was AMAZING!! Filet was super that my wife enjoyed! Brussell sprouts were great!! We split up four different desserts among us and ALL were on point!!
If we could afford to dine here more often. We definitely would!!!......until then, we will be back for the special occasions!!.....hopefully we will be back sooner, than later!!

Had my birthday dinner at this restaurant and i had the best time. Its an Upscale restaurant, you have to reserve a table ahead of time, it’s quite busy esp on the weekends. I highly recommend “Nueske Cherrywood smoked bacon with Kirean bbq sauce” and i mean HIGHLY..it’s an appetizer. We kept ordering a plate after another. It is SO SO GOOD! The food is amazing, perfect place for date night or special event. Been here a couple of times and definately not my last
I recommend Captial Grille for fine dining. My boyfriend treated me here for my bday and I was very satisfied. Service was A1. I did not get our waitress' name, but she did a great job. I ordered the French Onion soup and my bf ordered the Clam Chowder for starters...both were delicious. My entree was the 14oz NY Strip and his were the Lamb Chops. The portions were plentiful and I was surprised that the Lamb Chops was as big as they were. We both needed to-go boxes. Our sides were the Creamed Spinach and Scalloped Potatoes. Great choice. Valet is complimentary. That was convenient, no need to worry about parking. We were able to dine outside on a night when the weather was perfect. I can't forget my complimentary bday dessert 😋, I enjoyed that as well. Thanks for the experience Capital Grille. Round of applause to the cook(s).
Went to celebrate my daughter and son in laws birthday and my last night in Raleigh. First time there and were asked if we were celebrating. They in turn brought out cards and confetti for the table and also desert afterwards to celebrate. Food was great, they seemed to be on top of details. They catered on having chicken and fries for the kids. Pricey? Absolutely, buy I feel like we got great food and treated well.
The food and the wine are the best. I love the location, and parking is easy. This is my favorite steak house. The staff was great.
