Amazing spot! Absolutely everything, food and drink, is hand crafted. The flavors they choose are extremely intentional. Their menu is always evolving, but I trust their chef will always have something new and delicious for you to try @amp_eats (instagram and Facebook)

This place is amazing the owner is a delight. I don't write a lot of reviews I only write them if I feel the need for someone to experience the place. Found this place traveling back to Boston to fly out. Everything about this place is amazing the food, the ambience, we sat for many hours just letting the owner and bar keep use their imagination and making me anything their hearts desired it didn't disappoint. Every drink kept getting better and better. talk to Matt he will take the time to make you feel at home. How ever your mood is he's able to adjust and make you laugh. If you want to drink your sorrow away he's got you if you want story time he's got you. If you want banter in any way shape or form he's got you. You have to check out all the bathrooms. He has put a lot of time and personal touches and thoughts into this. Tell him the southerner's sent you . You will get a laugh I promise.

Kickass bar, awesome vaporwave aesthetic, and great people. This place has amazing cocktails, but you're going to stay because of the food. The ever-changing menu is based on locally sourced ingredients which keeps me coming back for more. It was hard for me to leave a review because I've been here a dozens of times and the menu is so seasonal... I always judge a place based on the burger. Theirs is consistently good and everything from patty to bun is made in-house. You literally cannot go wrong with anything here. And the front-of-house service is just as good. Appetizers are always great. My current favorite is the roasted bone marrow, but the mussels are also a close second. Right now my favorite entree is the Gyro, and you can't go wrong with the chicken or the falafel. As far as drinks go, all you have to do is ask the bartender for some advice for a drink. They'll ask you a series of 2-3 questions and craft you something amazing. I keep trying to order everything on their menu but every time I go they seem to have something new! But they're always willing to make me something off-menu that I had in the past. Zack and Matt are awesome dudes (and I can't say anything bad about any of the other staff I've met-- those are just the two I know by name), so come on in!

The vibe here is phenomenal and the drinks are incredible. Absolutely will be back! We stopped here for drinks after dinner and enjoyed the cocktails and brew options. This is a true gem in Quincy. The staff is very friendly, overall great experience.

Idle hour is great. The menu changes frequently - a must for a neighborhood place - AND the menu is definitely more sophisticated than your average bar. Cocktails here are also always great which for me coming from NYC was a really pleasant surprise. Excellent neighborhood destination.

It was my first time at idle table. The wait staff were very accommodating. I didn’t however care for menu. Only 5 choices. I like a menu with more than 5 choices and i did not like any of them so I had pasta and butter. I asked for bread and butter but apparently they don’t serve that here. She offered cornbread so I said sure but the cornbread cost $22. Most places give you cornbread and a variety of breads. Not this place. Our meal took over an hour which I think is long. In general I was dissatisfied with the food and the lack of things that I would’ve liked to of had like a bigger menu and faster service. I won’t ne returning!
