Subway

I went to get a sub and the sandwich preparer complained/hinted that they had just finishing cleaning. So despite the store still being open they started to clean up earlier because they wanted to go home sooner since nobody had shown up earlier, which I can understand. However the disappointment on their face that they had to make a sandwich was visible so I stopped mid-order and said ”I’ll just go eat somewhere else” which is what they really would have liked but didn’t want to say it. I shouldn’t feel guilty for ordering food, but I understand we all want to go home sooner. But I also drove to get here in the first place specifically to get a sandwich. I am giving this five stars so I don’t tarnish the establishment, but DO YOUR JOB and stop complaining. If the store is open and I simply ask for a sandwich...don’t try and guilt me.
