Birch Bark Eatery

Yum. A great place to take your non-vegan friend or family member, or to try vegan for the first time. However, as a vegan, it was great to visit a place where I didn’t have to question everything on the menu. The food we ordered was delicious vegan comfort food. Try the Reuben….incredible. Even picked up donuts on the way out, we never eat donuts….dang they were good. The staff was awesome. Highly recommend visiting if you are in town, do yourself the favor!

My husband read the reviews as we were traveling back toward our home; so I didn’t catch that the portions are quite generous. As a vegan restaurant it had quite a selection of apps, homemade drinks, sandwiches…and the donuts…wow! We enjoyed the garlic knots, Reuben sandwich with seitan, fried pickles, hand cut fries, and onion rings with horseradish sauce. A good cup of coffee, warm cider and flavored seltzer with blackberry. Good service and filling food. Worth a visit and stopover.

I went to visit one of my close friends who lives only a few minutes away, and she was raving about this place. I got the special, the BFC bowl and it was DELICIOUS. It has the flavor and crunch of fried chicken! The ‘drumsticks’ paired with the mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn made a drool worthy meal.

Wow. The chikken baycun ranch pizza was phenomenal! Vegan pizza can be hit or miss but Birch Bark Eatery is right on the mark! My only real complaint is that I couldn't try everything on the menu in one day and I live too far away to visit regularly. The Boston creme donut is pretty good, tastes just like the original. Onion rings are really good and the reuben sandwich is a classic. I wish they would offer pizza by the slice!! And I think the service could be improved but that's to be expected for a small eatery. Everyone working be was super friendly though.

One of the BEST vegan restaurants I've been to yet! The donuts are absolutely amazing!! And all the food is so delicious I always have a hard time choosing one dish! We always get a pizza though! The crust is to die for!! I drive an hour one way to go here and it is ALWAYS worth the drive!! Highly recommend 👌 👍

As someone who's eaten meat & dairy for all of my life, this place absolutely BLEW ME AWAY. My sister has been a vegan for the past 6 years and recently took us here. I had fried pickles, cheese sticks, donuts, and pizza with ranch dressing. Everything was so perfect and was very hard to differentiate from their original meat & dairy counterparts, which is why I was shocked when my sister told me that everything I had just eaten was vegan! Overall the experience was excellent, food was served very quickly, and our waitress was wonderful. Will absolutely be coming back soon.
