Sam's Inn Restaurant

Ok....usually places to eat on base are so so as everyone may know....but this place was definitely a pleasant surprise!!! I was in a super bad mood because I was hungry and wanted something good....well let me tell you....this place is a hidden gem.... the service was outstanding and the food was absolutely amazing. Everything home made and fresh.... the homemade salad dressings were absolutely delightful!! I could literally buy a bucket full of the ranch and Caesar dressing!! I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap which is usually boring but a safe bet....the chicken was cooked perfectly and the seasoning on it complimented the wrap perfectly accompanied with the amazing dressing I literally ate the whole thing and wanted more!!! Their French fries are delicious with their own special seasoning on them. My husband got the gyro bowl and he literally scarfed it and said the lamb was extremely tender and very tasty. My son got the meatlovers pizza and it was packed with meat!! It definitely brightened my day and put me in a much better mood!!! I would certainly take the trip on base again just for Sams!!!

I love the food and I ordered a lot of food and get it in a short amount of time. The drinks were really good and the food was amazing. The fries were also very good, the manager jack was really nice and it was really surprising that he is a waitress, bar tender, cook and, the manager. Definitely coming here again, deserves 10000 stars.

I've been going to Sam's since I was stationed on Quantico in 2003. Little has changed, they are still the go-to for the MCB lunch crew. Great menu with unique dishes (try the Hot Sam sandwich) and a full bar. I had a recent linkup with a few Marines at the Museum, and the visit just wasn't complete without beers at Sam's afterward! Highly recommended! To get on base, just show your DL at the gate and tell the guard "I'm going to Sam's in Q-Town", and they'll pass you right thru.
