My first time here due to meeting a work colleague for lunch. He picked this place on a whim. What a find! Whenever I see a French dip on the menu, I have to try it. Let me tell you, I have had a lot of French dips all over the country. This was the very best French dip I have ever had. The French onion soup and fries are top notch as well! I can’t wait to get back and try some other options!

We offered a post funeral luncheon for our family and friends and cannot say enough about the exceptional food and service we experienced. Jan, the hands-on owner and staff were extremely easy to work with and made the day go flawlessly. Thank you.

Loved discovering this place. Haven't been entertained by live piano music during dinner out for a very long time. The food and drinks (and dessert) were great. As an added bonus, there's a small live theater right next door that has plays occasionally. I love the older atmosphere of the place. It's very casual yet classy.

We chose this restaurant as it was close by and had outdoor searing that welcomed dogs. The food was great, I had the Salmon with the addition of a Crab Cake. Both were very tasty. My wife had the Zoodles which were also tasty. The service was great. The building was constructed in 1734 and is absolutely beautiful.

Beyond your normal dining experience. Live music in an historic Inn with a friendly comfortable setting. Food was 5 stars, well prepared and delicious. You have a new customer after tonight.

Enjoyed a Saturday afternoon with my husband and friends at the bar. Friendly, attentive service. Ordered a hot crab & shrimp sandwich that was delicious. Great drinks. Beautiful decour, the footrailing at the bar had lion heads & gorgeous carved detailing on the corners, details you can't find anymore. Love the history in the place, you are drinking where people who fought in the American Revolution gathered to drink with their friends and family. Look up Fries Rebellion, they met at McCoole's!

Nice restaurant in an old inn. Had the BLT on a half long roll. The bacon was thick and the roll was soft making for a delicious sandwich. Also had french onion soup which was also good. To drink I had one of there own beers, The Sassy Lassie. The service was great and fast. The parking can be a little difficult. I'll be back.$$

Went here for dinner last night for my birthday. The food was incredible and came out in sufficient time! We got the clam chowder (pic), nachos, short ribs, and chicken parm. Our waitress was Krystal and she was a delight! She was so friendly and very accommodating when asked to make mock tails and give beer recommendations. We’ve come before and we will certainly return.

So first starters, the hostess was really nice! Our waitress was super chill and sweet! The food was amazing I got a Crab and Shrimp Melt w French fries. It was about $16 and my only discrepancy is, I wish there were more fries! Other than that it was soo delicious and satisfying 😌 As for the drink, I got Notre...Damn it was a citrus vodka, curosao, and lime juice. The garnish is a dried lemon wedge. That was $12 but good size drink, and perfect amount of alcohol. The atmosphere is historically accurate but with a nice modern dish selection. Very cool place! Definitely recommend!

This place is truly historic. The interior of the building is a lesson in history. It’s beautiful. Our waiter was very polite and respectful. He was also very helpful. This is not an inexpensive meal by any stretch of the imagination. You’re paying for the atmosphere The great service and very good food. Without a doubt we will be back. Thanks for the great service and great food. The overall experience was wonderful.
