Fisher Scones

I want to be sure to say that this is a place that does have large crowds and I know for many it may be stressful, so my rating is definitely based on both my own enjoyment and nostalgia for going to the fair, and being on the lower end of stress in crowds. If you have any struggles with crowds I would say this one is closer to 3 stars with some suggestions at the end. I have enjoyed going to the fair for years and it was fun to go with family this year. We were able to see some of the art from students and see the loom work of several great artists! We saw some animals and got ice cream too. A very fun place to go for those who love rides, to see animals, or in our case to look at great artistic skills of those in our area! We tried to stay away from the larger crowds, and it was a very enjoyable trip. To avoid the crowds I would say avoid the purple entrance, it is near the rides and is always busy with people. Take advantage of the art sections of the fair with display areas near the coke stage and the art display area near the gold gate having fewer crowds most days. And, the biggest suggestion is avoid both the free day and weekends when more people are at the fair. Hope you get a chance to enjoy it soon!

It was fun to be here with my daughters and toddler granddaughter. We missed having the usual program with the daily schedules - especially with so many changes of locations of our favorite parts to visit. The rides seemed a bit pricey- $6 for our granddaughter to ride the carousel! We loved the display with all the quilts hung from the ceiling.

This year, just like previous years, did not disappoint. Yes it's expensive, and the food is overpriced, and it's crowded, and the parking can be terrible if you come late. But the look on my kids faces when they win a prize or just finally braved a new ride makes this experience priceless. We will be coming back for years to come.

Lots of over priced food, clothings, knickknacks, displays, rides, etc. We went in earlier in a day, so no music performance. Less crowded. It was fun walking around looking at stuff. There are many unofficial parking near by the events. Houses around the fairgrounds are offering parking space for $10. We found a place for $9 lol.

Plan on spending over $100 for parking, admission, and ride/game tickets. Lots to do, but extremely packed. Wait time for food, games and rides is anywhere from 15min - 40min. Lots of people wearing masks, maybe 85%. A bunch of highschool kids running around, watched one steal a stuffed animal, smh. Overall fun for the family. 11 tickets per person for each ride and around 8 tickets for games.
