If you love a good burger, this is the place to find the best. Reasonable price for the build your own and it comes with a choice of about 6 sides. Cole slaw and vegetables are the two I have tried in 2 visits. Both outstanding! Yes, 2 visits in one week. A friend introduced me to Burg'r Bar and 1 week later I convinced my wife it was worth the 30 minute drive. She agreed it was well worth it !
We loved this place! Staff was very friendly. Natalie was a super waitress! We sat inside and went early so it wasn't crowded. Made to order burgers you pick your roll, meat and toppings. My husband loved his hamburger. I ordered the patty melt. It was delicious with plenty of cheese, mushrooms and onions. We will be back and recommend it to our friends and family!
We went for lunch, and all had burgers and sides, my side salad was huge which is not usually the case at a burger place. Very fresh and good. My friend put the loaded chili on his fries, and it did look good, not healthy but good. Solid burgers cooked correctly.
Good food, fun atmosphere, and friendly staff. I had the biscuits and gravy with bacon on the side. A bit more meat in the gravy would have made this a solid five-star meal; I give it 4 1/2 stars as it was. Definitely going back to try the burgers.
If a burger could sing a harmony in your mouth, this place makes those burgers. I have the pickiest eater in the world that I take out to only burger places and I swear her eyes rolled to the back of her head in flavor ecstasy for every bite. Our server was a charming blond lady. I asked her what she was in the mood for, and bring me that. So not only are the burgers in good taste, but the service has good taste too. The burgers here are what all burgers should strive to be. I dont know if another burger will ever satisfy me after having the burgers I had here. Best Burgers in all the land. Be nice to the chef. I bet the chef wears a cape. Best darn burger. Ever!
I saw the name of the restaurant and thought it was just burgers.The breakfast world passed by here and found many people sitting outdoors.
The breakfast is very good and the service is friendly. Will come again.
THE BURG’R BAR in Punta Gorda! WOW!!
My wife and I drove over from Winter Haven to Punta Gorda to visit a family friend. We decided to eat before heading home. A minute later we saw their sign and decided a burger sounded better than pizza.
We were so happy that we did! My wife had a regular burger w/fries and I had a BBQ Burger w/ sweet potato fries.
Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly!
Our server, Wanda was so cool, friendly and sweet! She took excellent care of us!
If you’re in the Punta Gorda area or from out of town and want a fantastic burger, make sure you go to the BURG’R BAR!
BTW, Wanda, the left over sweet potato fries made a great snack for our long drive home!

This is a great place for quality food. The burgers are huge and great quality. The price point for the burger quality was great. The selection isn't huge and the place feels a bit cramped but the owner obviously aims for quality (even the paper napkins are nice). Our server, Jayden, was on top of everything and was super friendly. Definitely a place to try if your in the area.
First thing I noticed was how clean this place is and how it has a very cozy feel to it. Next thing was the wait staff and hostess were and our server even raved about how great of people the owners are to work for. I had a burger with fries and mac n cheese and it did not disappoint. In a small town like this, I can definitely get behind a place like this!!
Always looks busy! We had great service but burger could have had a splash more kraft and thousand island . Husband ordered the hot wing which are gigantic and should be cooked longer making them crisp..just sayin! We may try again just because the waitress was super cool and funny!
Service was excellent!! Super delicious appetizers! I forgot to take a photo when it first came but we had the loaded fries, the jumbo tater tot (DELICIOUS) and the Buffalo wings!! For burgers we did a build your own, the fillet sliders and a bacon blu burger! Amazing!! Highly recommend
We stopped for lunch and everyone got some type of burger. My husband started with a cup of chili which was delicious; of course I tried it. We had the buffalo chicken egg roll appetizer. They were very good, I could have eaten another order as my entree. A very clever way to do buffalo chicken. Kudos!
I had the black and blue burger with grilled onions, bacon, lettuce and tomato. It was huge! I was able to eat 3/4 of it and the accompanying onion rings. I don’t think the onion rings were made at the restaurant, they were bland.
The other burgers looked just as good and everyone enjoyed them.
