Banyan's on the ridge - five stars Delicious but overpriced. My grandpa took my dad and I to this restaurant and we all got prime rib. We had calamari as a side. The prime rib was delicious as was the calamari. The prime rib cooked just right; tender, juicy, and everything else you would expect. The chef that cooks the food is really good at what he does - one of the best. The chef made some of the best creme brulee I've ever tried. The atmosphere is quite nice with the beautiful view. The staff is incredibly professional and kind. The restaurant is clean and not too loud. Now to the cons- way overpriced. Take seasons for example- they charge $20 for a prime rib meal with sides whereas Banyan's charges far more. This is just my opinion of course, but I'm sure many people in Pullman would pay the extra dollar if they did not have the time to drive to Seasons in Moscow. I'm sure if Banyan's lowered their markup to a reasonable rate they would have much more business.

High quality staff. They know the menu and make great recommendations all while being friendly and professional. The food was delicious. Great portions and quality. The menu is diverse and well thought out with options for everyone. The venue is incredible with a beautiful view of the course and surrounding area. All in all, this is a great dining experience and worth every dollar.

We had a business meeting/ dinner here. Was not busy at all. Service was very slow, he forgot quite a few of our parties' salads. One person sent their meat back, he procrastinated on bringing her another which was not cooked right either. My carmelized salmon was awesome, sauce a little sweet but cooked perfectly. Dessert seemed to have been forgotten, until we went UP and asked about it. Server could be seen in back spinning plates on his finger. This was supposed to be a classy place for how much it costed. We picked this restaurant for this meeting which was a disappointment to most of us including our owner and CEO from Oregon.

This is a fun and beautiful golf course! We had lunch for a company meeting as well that was fabulous. It was more than I expected by far. Pretty large portions and very flavorful. I will definitely be coming back when I visit Pullman again.

We had a group of 12 that they knew in advance was coming in. Table was ready but no wait staff to greet and seat us. Our waiter took orders around table but only asked a portion of us what kind of salad we wanted. House salads werent consistent as to what they had on them. Entrees finally came out with confusion. Some orders werent correct. My medium rare fillet was well done. I very rarely send anything back but I did this time. It took someone else check on mine to finally get my fillet well after the rest were almost done with dinner. This was also after receiving my salad well after everyone else had.My husbsnds medium Rare fillet was tender and great but once I got mine it was tough. Several of us ordered dessert in the group. A friend ordered the "cheesecake " off the menu( the menu shows four desserts) She was served plain cheesecake thinking she was getting the creme brulee cheesecake. I ordered the creme brulee cheesecake but the waiter didnt let me finish speaking...what arrived was creme brulee not the creme brulee cheesecake. The menu doesnt even offer just creme brulee. We were both very confused. Creme brulee didnt have the hard shell on top like it should normally. The wait staff seemed very inexperienced or too understaffed to care. Not sure if the problem was with the kitchen and wait staff communicating. Also noticed plenty of wait staff on the patio at tables. Also noticed cook staff outside on breaks many times while we were sitting there for about 3 hours. Not sure I will return after this experience, this was the first time many of us had been to Banyans. Pricey menu for this type of service. Very disappointed in the overall experience. We werent seated where we could see the beautiful view but back around a corner with view of a warehouse area. We were the only ones seated inside so not sure why we were in a back corner.

No reservations no problem! We were treated like royalty as soon as we walked in. Our server was personable and professional allowing our group to explore the menu but also providing insight to the specialties. The drinks were prepared with precision and delivered in a few short minutes. When the meals arrived they were perfect temp and our taste buds were tantalized by the kitchen staff. I would recommend the flourless chocolate decadence with huckleberry ice cream for dessert and a cup of Joe, splendid! We will be returning soon!
