Themexicanside - The Bib

We have never been so confused walking into a restaurant as we were here. We thought we were going to a BBQ joint. Out on the street it says "BIB's Smokehouse BBQ" above the door. The flags on either side of the door were waving around, so we didn't really see what was on them until we came back out...they are printed with "TACOS". As you walk in, you're greeted with the specials board with Italian dishes listed. The decor at the door is more Italian than anything else...except one small BBQ decoration. The restaurant only had one other table seated. We were ushered to a small table basically in the doorway of one area. Who wants to sit in the doorway when the restaurant is empty? Then we were taken to the other side to sit next to the only other diners. 🙄 Anyway, we open the menu and there's a small BBQ section, along with Italian, seafood and Mexican. Honestly, this place doesn't know what it wants to be! All that said, our food was delicious. I had the brisket melt and hubs had brisket with Mac & cheese, corn, garlic bread & slaw. It was all very good with such large portions that we had delicious seconds for lunch.

I want to give a huge shout out to the staff and owner of The Bib’s BBQ! The staff was friendly, even with the kitchen a little behind on orders. They all had a great attitude. Staff communicated to us clearly what was going on, gave us complimentary apps, plus we ordered our own apps. 1st course they knocked it out of the park! If you love street corn, this place has the best around! The soft chips and Queso were top notch. Our main course was incredible. The baked Mac n cheese is out of this world, coconut shrimp was cooked perfectly and my husband ordered the bbq brisket shepherds pie. There is no words to describe how amazingly delicious the shepherds pie was! My oldest ordered their steak bites, he couldn’t form words after trying his dinner. My youngest enjoy their chicken tenders! Hands down one of the best restaurants in central NY! Super amazing staff, kid friendly and all around enjoyable experience! Thank you!! We will be back again :)

The outside of The Bib is quite unassuming, but when you walk through the doors, you are met with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Their cocktail menu is quite extensive with mixed drinks I have never seen concocted anywhere else. The steak and mushroom soup is a must-have ... very comforting and delicious with tender chunks of prime rib and sliced mushrooms in a delightful soup base. We ordered the Campfire Mac N Cheese and the Shepherd's Pie. These portions were so large that we will have both lunch and dinner tonight! The freshness of the produce and the plating made these "comfort foods" much more enticing than your average fare. Our server, Christine, was very attentive to our needs and seemed to enjoy our questions regarding the food. We also had the owner, Lori, come to our table so that we could let her know how much we enjoyed our entire evening meal experience at The Bib. Even though we are only in the area for another month, we will definitely be back as there are many other meals that caught our eye on their extensive menu. Thank you for a great meal! If you are in the Pulaski area, this place is a "must" ... hell ... I'd even drive the 35 minutes from Syracuse to have dinner here! So worth it!

We are here visiting from PA. Saw this passing by and had to stop for dinner. Boy, are we glad we did! The food was great! They give you enough to feed and army. Literally. The taco bowl special I ordered was enough for me for 5 days. My husband got meat lovers enchiladas- it included SIX different meat filled enchiladas. Staff was friendly. Place was neatly decorated.

My husband and I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. It was clean, unique and friendly. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive throughout our meal. We had complementary warm tortilla chips with fresh salsa, a great starter for us. We both had soup, seafood and steak and mushroom soup. Both were outstanding! Our main entrée arrives quickly, hot with generous portions. My husband got the fresh haddock dinner. The breading was perfect and it was cooked to perfection. I ordered barbecue brisket quesadilla it was well balanced with meat, cheese with fresh vegetables and herbs. (No room for dessert... today) The owner popped over to our table to check in. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience. We will be returning and would recommend to anyone. Marilyn & Frank

The atmosphere was great. Very cozy on the inside. The owner is involved and when they did not have something on the menus due to selling out of the item she came to us directly and was very nice. The appetizers were amazing the fried cornbread was just "wow". Excellent food at a great price. Will definitely be coming back in the near future.
