Sonic Drive-in

I really like Pryor’s Sonic, never really had much of a problem, until today. I was a Sonic this afternoon between 3:10 and. 3:45. I parked in the last stall facing away from the building on the north side. I ordered 1 large blue raspberry water, 1 large sweet tea, 1 large blackberry (?) water and a medium order of cheddar peppers. The medium order of peppers have 6 peppers, mine had 5. The Carhop was a young girl with dark hair and tattoos. When she handed me my order she had a really smirky smile, did not offer me my receipt. When I tipped her ($2) she just looked at me like she had put “one” over on me. Since my back was to her, I didn’t watch her come out. So, I’m wondering if it’s now customary for Carhops to sample food for your customers. If she was truly hungry, I would have bought her something to eat. I know it’s just one pepper, but to eat Part of my food is a tad bit strange.

Ok, I don't expect much when I get Sonic. The ones where I live leave a lot to be desired. This location hit a home run. The food was cooked well, asambled correctly and with a bit of care. The burger atty wasn't cooked completely dry, and was seasoned. The bun was toasted and the ingredients were still on my sandwich, not in the bag, when I went to eat it. However the crowning glory was the fact it wasn't crushed so the bun still had some height. The tater tots though not cooked to order were still crunchy and warm. I saw the staff cleaning the trash cans and taking out boxes, even though there was a good amount of cars. This location is well managed and staffed. I wish I lived closer to be able to come back more often.
