Green Panda Cafe

I love this place especially for its pork buns and potstickers! It’s a super cute place and has a sweet, small town atmosphere. Fair warning, this is not a boba place! This doesn’t affect my rating, because I would not go to a small Taiwanese restaurant for boba if you want quality. For anyone complaining about the boba, you are honestly fooling yourself. Go to a place designated for boba. For anyone looking for a friendly staff and a good meal, look no further.

First time at Green Panda! Have lived in the area for a long time but never tried it. So glad I tried it today. Sometimes little places like this are very hit or miss. This is a score! I ordered sweet and sour chicken, Mongolian beef, ham fried rice and veggie spring rolls. All of it was delicious. I usually don’t order sweet and sour chicken much anymore because I am always disappointed. But since I was really in the mood for it, I ordered it here. Some of the best I’ve had! Highly recommend Green Panda.

We have enjoyed dining at Green Panda in the past and found the food excellent in a pleasant, clean yet casual setting (walk up to counter to order and food which soon came out to table after ordering). Post pandemic we continue to enjoy contactless Green Panda excellent food and responsive service by phoning in our order and paying by card over the phone for curbside pickup - which is brought out and put in the back of our car as scheduled when our drier arrives to pick it up to bring home for consumption. All good experiences here!

If you want good Taiwanese food around Utah County, Green Panda Cafe is the place to go check out. This is coming from a taiwanese guy that grew up on a lot of this food at home. They have a really good beef noodle soup, which I highly recommend. For those that have been to the Taiwan street market to get these noodles, you know what I'm talking about. It's really good and reminds me of home. So I'm just not ordering it because it's a reason for me to visit my family out of state and have some good bonding time. Anyways, on to what I ordered. I got the potstickers which were delicious. If there was an eating contest, I will for sure win. Next was the chicken fried steak. My dad does a really good version of this so I was curious how they did it. The vegetables were just boiled, so no seasoning and the chicken was really dry. The outside breading was really dry as well, but the seasoning on the breading was ok. I had to put a lot of sauce on it to help with the dryness. I might try it again if it was done differently. Lastly was the chicken stir fry noodles. Chicken on this was a bit dry as well, but the noodles were full of flavor. If you are hesitant about trying something new, this is a good dish to try. My husband and I have been going here for years - you will NOT find a better potsticker in all of Utah valley, I’d bet money on it! The honeydew boba is my fav drink to get. And the Egg flower soup is SO stinkin good. Kung Pao chicken is the other dish we like. But honestly - we do a double order of the 15 pot stickers and the soup 😂 And it hits the spot every time. We’ve moved 3 cities away and still make the drive. It’s a problem 😅

Variety is good. The flavours are spot on with more authentic foods from Taiwan. Atmosphere is quaint and cute and its a good place to go if you want food at reasonable prices without the formality of having a waiter. You simply go up to order your food and they bring it out when it is ready. Payment happens before you get your food so you don't have to wait for the bill. Good local place to support
