Capriotti's

We love Capriotti’s but our experience today was pretty disappointing. We were excited to be back in town and stop here for lunch. We arrived at the store at 10:30 (according to the online hours AND what is written on the door, they open at 10) and I walked inside after calling three times to put in the order, being sent to voicemail each time. Upon walking in, the guy working came out from the back, confused as to why I was there, and he said he wasn’t open yet. I showed him the door that stated the sign says they open at 10 and he said “sorry, I can’t help you until 11” which was unfortunate because we had somewhere to be were unable to wait that late to put in an order. Please update your online times AND your door to your accurate operating hours to avoid further confusion in the future.

Very difficult to order if you’ve never been there before! There’s only a tiny menu taped on the table to view, unclear lines/order flow, and loud echoey music. The WORST thing: you can’t see how much anything costs until after you finish your order! No prices listed anywhere! $9 for a sandwich that’s smaller and with fewer options than Subway. We also got a barbecue turkey salad... with half a bottle of BBQ sauce 🤢 Friendly but slow service. The flavor and quality of food was good, but not great. I literally don’t know how they stay in business. I’d rather make a PB&J than come here again! You might like it if you really love saucy, meaty, cheesy things on white bread and money is no object. If you want a good value and a healthy meal, go somewhere else. <COVID/health precautions: the employees were all wearing masks and they seemed hygienic>
