Great day today on the course! First time playing it, Great course, course was challenging and in great shape. Greens were awesome and very friendly staff. Joe was a good dude! My buddy said only thing that was sub par were the hot dogs 🌭 lol! I’ll be back again for sure!

I see a lot of unusual reviews of this course. Frankly I love playing this course first thing in the morning on a weekday. I hate playing on the weekend because of over crowding and slow play. Its links style and the fairways, tee boxes and greens are in excellent shape. I don't mind using a local rule to roll the ball off the fairway because of some of the hard surfaces. Its about having fun not pounding the ball off hard surfaces when we go astray.
Basically I'm saying play the course and enjoy it.

Course is in great shape even for mid March. Greens fast & true. Fairways fine. Wet spots & a few minor fixes will, I'm sure, be fixed. One thing: time to put out the sand trap rakes. Can't be beat for great course for any price but especially for $30 ( senior, walking 18).

Great public course. Friendly staff with good food. Be sure to go on Wednesdays during the month of August for "Wacky Wednesdays", 20% of your round with a food coupon for lunch. Just paid $44 for 18 holes with a cart and $5 off my lunch. Can't beat it. Enjoy and hit em straight!

Loved it. Such a fun and challenging course. Greens were flawless. Staff was really nice too. Mid-week morning tee time and pace was great. Didn’t wait once.
Would be nice if they extended some of the cart paths, or at least put them near the tees and greens. Starting to get lumpy and ruin the course. Other than that, it was great.

For Donald Ross fans, Triggs is a classic layout that should be on everyone’s “must play” list. Walkable, challenging and in good condition. Triggs is in my top 3 public courses in RI. Price is fair, and in line with other New England public tracks. If the ownership keeps the course in above average condition, and makes an effort to improve on issues that can be problematic for almost all busy public courses (slow play, customer service), I will not only be a frequent customer, but I will also promote the course to the many golfers in my circle.
Certainly a course for serious golfers.

Nice municipal course...wide fairways...well cared for grass...admittedly a bit confusing on layout of a couple of holes...when we played there had been some thatching and aeration done that made the greens kind of awkward to play as the airation holes got in the way of the ball...but over all nice walkable course...reasonable price.
