Best sandwiches in Providence, if not beyond. Ingredients are fresh, prices incredibly reasonable, and staff always friendly and appreciative. It's a classic deli, so don't expect table service or fine dining, but an awesome lunch everyday spot.

We come from Newport area to enjoy Anthony's deli. It's a family that prides itself on providing quality and friendly face service for many years. If you want the best there's no other deli I think in all of New England and we travel offen. I think 5 stars doesn't hold for this one. You guys are the best...

I drive from woonsocket, RI just for their food. Have yet to try a better sangwhich from anywhere else. Only make it there a few times a year, all the employees and owner are very nice.
This place is awesome. I bring people all the time to introduce them. Anthony is personable,knowledgeable, and makes on exceptional sandwich. As for the Godfather "smelling like vomit" it was the sharp provolone cheese. It is supposed to smell. That is how you know its high quality. If you didnt grow up with it, it can be a tough taste to love. Ask for the Goddy (short for the godfather) with sopresata and fresh mozzarella added its amazing. My other go to is the Chicken caprese with Sopresata and sharp provolone. You can also buy fresh made sausage, and honestly the chicken rabe with provolone is to die for.
