Chelo's Beef Hearth

The first and last time I ever visited this place!! Rumford! The chicken pot pie, was gross..KFC has a better one!! The pie crust and chicken inside was so dry, choke on it. The soup of the day was beef, tasteless, beef chunk and I mean one chunk…was dry and horrible!! The famous meatloaf was nasty!!Hahaha market basket has better tasting!! OMG the cook should take some pride in what is sent out of the kitchen! This food was absolutely disgusting and my dog wouldn’t eat it!! I’m so disappointed! Absolutely disgusting 🤮

I hadn’t been at this location in a few years. Great updates! The place is now very bright. Beautiful furniture and tons of TV screens playing various games. The food was delicious, especially the seafood chowder. It was creamy and flavorful. Friendly staff. Clean atmosphere. $2.99 margaritas can’t be beat.

I enjoyed trying this place if you enjoy good food and great service. I thought I would give Chelo’s a try and glad I did. The service is great and the waitress rocked! She arrived with a friendly smile welcoming us to Chelo’s Hometown Bar & Grill. The quality of service and food is why I highly recommend this place to you. You will not be disappointed when eating at this place. Our waitress made the night as she when above and beyond to help us enjoy the evening. Thank you for the great service and food this place offers.

Went here for lunch the other day. Ordered chicken pot pie. Came out extremely hott and was pretty good. Also ordered some food for kids which they seemed to enjoy and white clam chowder which was really good too. The only problem was the clam cakes. They seemed to be cooked in old oil due to color. Happy with overall experience. Waitress was very nice and attentive.

This is one of my all time favorites! I only wish they had one closer to my new address. For the price the food can not be beat! I have been to 3 of different spots and the food is just as great in each of them. Combined I've tried about 50% of the menu and have never had a bad meal. HIGHLY recommend the Clam Cakes!! Easily the BEST you can find!! I always get a dozen to go!!

Food was really mediocre tasting. From the appetizers to the stale crumbly bread on the burgers. Chicken tenders weren't crispy or flavorful, sauces were generic, no seasoning, and the frozen almond drink was super watery, yuck. All the while, the food was pretty pricey. Update: After going again, food was a lot better, although, we didn't get the burgers or drinks this time.
