Really great Shepherds Pie (lamb, not beef).Grabbed a table next to the big front windows. Great, cheerful service. And I really can't say enough about the Shepherds Pie.

What a good place to get your Irish on! This is a very welcoming place — a well priced place to hang out or have dinner. They even have trivia night. I was lucky to be part of their 10th anniversary celebration. Highly recommend this great place in Wayland Square. Come and enjoy!

We had dinner at McBride's on Saturday evening - rain in the forecast. Sever Nick was great, got us our food and drinks outside. Fast and delicious. Steak Tips, Lamb Burger, Haddock Sandwich. Weather set in, electrical storm, so we ventured inside. Good beer & service there too.

A friendly place to grab a good drink and a bite. While visiting from out of town, I enjoyed the conversations as much as the food and drink. The atmosphere is as Irish as I've ever seen, loved it.

Amazing drinks, good friendly laid back staff despite being busy. However, because they don't have enough staff, we never got refills on our water and the tables were missing seasoning and napkins. Food also took almost 45 minutes to come out. It's clear they need another person or two helping around. The biggest downside and the reason this isn't 4-5 stars however is, the food was bland, absolutely bland. It was clear from 4 different dishes that not even salt or pepper was used on any of it. I literally took pieces of food off and visually inspected - nothing. Plain potatoes. Plain corned beef. Plain nachos... plain everything. Instead, oddly, every single dish came with parsley and sour cream, as if that'll do anything. They have some really unique foods too but it could be so much better. I ended up dumping salt, pepper, and hot sauce on all my food to make it palatable. Lastly, all the dishes seemed a tad pricey. Perhaps it's the location? Still, if I pass by again, perhaps I'd stop in, especially for their unique tasty drinks. Then again, there's so many Irish places in town that simply have better tasting food.

Ordered take out and was not impressed. The fish and chips lacked flavor and there were a dozen fries. The Ruben was good. We will visit again and dine in, but will avoid take out.

Only shared a slice of apple pie a la mode with a friend. Bar/waite staff all knew him and treated with kindness.

Food was alright, nothing to rave about. Small but cozy atmosphere. Waitress was a but shy but the guys working the bar were super friendly.
