We had heard good things about the Blackstone Grille and they were right - the food and service were wonderful! We enjoyed the most tender, melt-in-your mouth pot roast with mashed potatoes and green beans I've had since my mother and grandmother used to cook! The brownie dessert made our anniversary celebration even more special!!

Had a salad and an appetizer- fried calamari. I expected an awesome seasoned salad full of veggies. I got a side salad, huge pieces of lettuce, giant onion rings, 3 olives and a few chickpeas. The calamari was very lightly breaded and soggy.
Seriously subpar food. Cheap tacky decor- plastic vines and trees. Waitress was excellent.

You see a lot of reviews & wonder who is more right or more wrong. We took a chance for our anniversary dinner. I have to agree with the it’s just ok viewpoint. The staff were friendly, but the service was just ok. Two points of concern were having to ask for water refills & having to ask for bread. I personally thought the food was just average for the price we paid. The steaks had a lot of fat & some gristle. I just believe if you are paying that price, you should expect better.

Can't say this is worth the money. Nice atmosphere and friendly service, but food is overpriced for it's taste and quality. This restaurant is a wannabe nice that doesn't quite make it. They need to reconsider either the menu or the prices.

Been going to this place about 20 years. Absolutely love it! Great food. Wonderful staff. Always crowded and with good reason. Takes a while to get there from where we live (40206), but it's a lovely drive out and back on River Road.
