The Hub

The hub is unlike any other coffee shop you will ever go to. There is a comfortable place for moms to feel welcome and relax and converse while their kids play safely in a contained large area with tons of toys and also quieter areas in the back if you prefer to read, a vast selection of goodies and coffee and is such a cool atmosphere. Also, once a week they offer open mic opportunities where community speakers, local music artists and creative people come to share their hearts with those there. It's a really great place to relax and socialize. They have tons of events and fun community activities.

Our family has always enjoyed going to the Hub! My husband shops for new and antique books while I sip a coffee and share a treat with my children. There is a nice couch to relax on while you watch the children play. The girls love to check out the fun toys. We have spent hours there without any fussing. There are all different gifts and even furniture along with the great selection of books! The coffees and teas are wonderful! There are smoothies! The food and treats are delicious! I keep meaning to try the pizza! The wraps are delicious! Recently, I wanted mini cupcakes for my daughter's birthday. No one around had fresh. They were all pre-made and frozen. I wanted them to have just minimal frosting. My husband has celiac disease so our kitchen is completely gluten free, no contamination risks allowed. I just wanted regular gluten cupcakes for our friends. Kara, the owner took my special request and made some delicious fresh cupcakes, chocolate, vanilla and strawberry with just enough frosting! She had the order ready that day! They were gone in hurry at the party. I should have ordered a few dozen more. They were a big hit! I think I only got one bite because my child ran up and took it from me. If you want freshly baked confections, give them a call! I highly recommend visiting the Hub!

I really appreciate the space where kids can play and socialize with each other at The Hub! Meeting here and utilizing this area during moms' group has been a great resource for both my 2-year-old daughter and myself. The owner and her family are aways pleasant, kind, and professional. The space is definitely unique and rustic and there are lots of tables and comfy chairs to read or work on your computer.

Lots to explore at this store...books, antiques and more! Lots more! Music, games, coffee and more, more, more. Did I say more? LOL This is also the local Uhaul location. Having my vehicle serviced next door at Bear Auto Repair gives me an excuse to come here for a cup of my favorite Earl Grey Lavender tea and hang out for a while.

This is a special place... a place where a mom welcomes you with a smile and her homeschooled children take your order with perscision, and professionalism....well past their years... (and past most with dyed hair) Their coffee, teas, smoothies, milkshakes, pastries, and sweet potato egg hash are exceptional, and the atmosphere could not be better. They have WIFI, and many seating arrangements... to study, read, or play in the children’s area....in addition to the food, they have a wide variety of books, and antiques! They even rent out Uhauls! This place has it all. The worship music is the final special touch. Blessed to have found this place! It’s just what I’ve been looking for!!
