We were traveling home and wanted to stop for a bit to eat so we stopped at the Big Apple. We like to support local small businesses when we can. Our waitress was super friendly and was very attentive. Jim ordered one of the nightly specials which was the steak sandwich. I couldn't resist the Hot Beef sandwich. The food was good and worth the stop.

Great food at a great price! Friendly staff and a popular place! Husband didn't get his bacon he ordered and the waitress was very polite and got him it as soon as we let her know.

Best pancakes we ever had and the staff was very nice, too. All the food was really good. We were here ten years ago and had their pancakes and said that we would come back again. The older ladies were not here anymore, sorry to say, but the new people were very nice also. We will be back again someday, if the good Lord is willing.

What a lovely hometown restaurant. Driving thru on my way home from a trip. Happened upon Big Apple while doing a gas stop. Service was quick and friendly. Food was good.

The owner appeared disappointed that we came in 45 minuets before they closed. But, a couple more tables came in, after us. The food was very good and our waitress VERY good and patient with us.

We were looking for a local place to get a bite to eat. It was a great stop. Very friendly staff, great service and the food hit the spot. My husband who is pretty picky on his food actually said the gravy was "really good!" His steady food comments are "it's okay." We had eggs and hash, fried pollock woth corn mashed potatoes amd gravy and a house salad. Great stop, and service was fast! Thank you!

Food was good. We got breakfast skillets and omelets. $41 for 3 people to eat breakfast was a little steep but the food and service were good.
