There just isn't anything else like it. So fresh and so delicious. Breakfast is served all day and the lunch menu is nothing short of amazing. The staff is friendly and very helpful and the desserts are definitely worth the trip. Kudos to the pastry chef!
I went to Lillipies for the first time yesterday and bought a few small bakery items (apple pie, lemon meringue, and a chocolate donut). I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was fresh and delicious without been too sweet. I will be back for more.
The service and the food are both exceptional! And I love that the ingredients are locally sourced.
Dinkie sandwich is to die for. Actually anything they make is. Pretzel pockets, egg sandwiches, frozen hot chocolate. Just typing this is making me salivate. So very delicious.

Tried the Chocolate Chess LiLLiPIE and a couple of other small items and everything was fresh, extremely tasty and well done. The crust was exceptional. My mother was a first-generation Italian-American from Jersey City. She baked especially during the holidays. Reminded me of that but even better. Definitely will be coming back for more and to try more items.
Everything I've tried so far has run the short gamut from excellent to "This is the best ___ I've ever had!" And I am *very* particular about baked goods. An outstanding and much-needed addition to Princeton.

Jen made our wedding "giant Hostess Orange Cupcake" and mini pies. They were so delicious and such a huge hit. I am glad to see that I can order some to celebrate my 2nd anniversary with!
When it was time to order a cake for an event, of course I went to LilliPiES, having sampled many of their wares. Stupid me, though. Since I don't often order such things, I forgot that (just as when I ordered something for my daughter out of state from a local bakery near her college), most places need a week to prepare such an order. I tried to order only three days before my event! The manager told me he'd check with the pastry chef the next day to see whether they had the needed ingredients on hand (everything is fresh and high-quality), and I was delighted when I got the good news that they could accommodate me.
Check their Facebook page for a photo of their cakes. Ours was as beautiful to the look at as it was delicious to eat. It made a great impression on our guests, which was only amplified when they tasted it.

Fabulous breads (German sourdough) with great texture and wonderful depth of flavor. The English muffins, especially the seeded ones were off the charts! What can I say about their signature lillipies, the crowd went wild!!! We all voted and the pear was our favorite. Everything there is baked fresh using as much locally produced ingredients as possible therefore when they run out, they run out so get there early!!
The entire staff at LiLLiPiES are incredible. The pastries they make are yummy and starting in the spring, they’ll have a story time on Sunday mornings beginning in late April.

Great local bakery! Limited hours, so it is difficult to get there when it’s open, but when it is, it is wonderful.
Absolute gem. Kouign Ammans are a must, they beat out Dominique Ansel in NYC (who helped popularize them in the US), in my opinion. I got a range of pastries to try and not one disappointed; they range from above average to superb. Lovely to find such a top-tier bakery in a somewhat random location. Service was very friendly and helpful. They deserve much more hype.
(Oddly I don't find the actual 'pies' they sell at Small World etc to be that great, but everything at the actual bakery is; love to see more coffee shops in Princeton carry some of these pastries, as I think Sakrid already does.)
We ordered LiLLiPiES miniature pies for our wedding rehearsal dinner. We were having BBQ and thought pie would be the perfect ending to the evening! The Key Lime pie made my husband's day since it is his favorite. The peach pies were perfect and the chocolate chess and cherry pecan were crowd pleasers as well. I'd love to get a set of these in the fall/winter and try those flavors out as well!
Their baked goods are excellent. I recently ordered their arugula, caramelized onion and cheese quiche. It was delicious. I’m also a big fan of their frozen cookies. And of course their baked breads are fresh and flavorful!
