EDIT: Checked up on the takeout hours and they’ve been updated to reasonable times. Will be reserving a dine-in today. Thank you for listening. They really don't do takeout. Unfortunate. Dined-In one day and loved the food/atmosphere. Tried calling in for take-out, but was denied and pushed to their website. Not sure if their website is bugged but it only allows for take-out orders for Tues/Wed between 4-7PM. Seriously? During Covid you decide to have impossible options for takeout? Still a great dine-in spot, just wish such a nice restaurant could run take-out properly.

My fiancé and I are celebrating our anniversary and had only heard good things about Witherspoon Grill. We got food to go and I came home and the turkey burger I ordered was completely pink. What was supposed to be a nice dinner was ruined. Extremely disappointed.

We went for a quick dinner and we both had hamburgers. Very large and quite delicious. We are definitely going back for a full dinner! Attentive wait staff and very accommodating.

Great location for this upscale eatery. Reservation on weekend is required. We were luck to get a table at the patio. Food was good but not great. Service was fantastic. Definitely worth visiting. Big portion sizes.

Really nice experience outdoors on the patio. it was our first time back since rona times. Had a lovely boneless short rib while my wife had an amazing lobster roll that she thoroughly enjoyed. It was about 60 and breezy but they had plenty of heaters outside so it was comfortable. Word of advice: eat your food quickly because it truly cools off much faster being outside but still comes out piping hot. Thumbs up!

Nice set up outside. Service was excellent. Food was very good, with a few little finishing touches needed. Rack of lamb was unevenly finished, slightly burnt or a little soft in spots. Crabcakes had a good crab ratio but didn't hold together well. Upscale restaurant but prices a little high. Would definitely go back.

What an awesome restaurant nestled in downtown Princeton! We stopped in for a lunch meeting as Witherspoon Grill was located conveniently for everyone. We arrived early, just after they opened for lunch. Initially it seemed they might have half of the seats spoken for but as noontime arrived the entire main dining room and bar was filled nearly to capacity! We started with fresh oysters of which they had four varieties on hand. We enjoyed a dozen oysters of two types which were fresh and tasty! Following with shrimp 🍤 cocktails, they were quite large probably 16/20 count, tender sweet and very enjoyable! Our main courses were delivered shortly after as they must be mindful of the limited time most have for lunch. These included the 14 oz Dry Aged KC Strip steak, very tasty, juicy and wonderful (hint: you can order from the dinner menu if you’d like a larger steak portion). Sirloin steak salad with steak cooked to perfection (medium rare), that was a great looking salad! The lighter choice was the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Everyone was well pleased with their choices and the service was great, always nearby, but not hovering over us... overall a great lunch and the service was pleasantly efficient. Thanks for a great lunch Witherspoon Grill!
