My family LOVES La Tolteca! The food is always delicious, and the service is always excellent! It has become our Friday dinner tradition and we look forward to it every week.

This is one of those gems that could easily slide under the radar. I like Mexican style restaurants, but I admit many are pretty mediocre. When I try a new one, I don't expect much, but every every so often, there is one that stands out above the rest. La Tolteca turned out to be exceptional in terms of the quality of the food and wait staff. It was also a good value in terms of quality to pricing.

Atmosphere was a bit loud for my liking, but I went at the height of the dinner rush. So my fault if I wanted a quiet evening. My kids and I loved their food, definitely authentic.

New waitress, but very nice, it's been our go-to place for years. The owners and the kids are so nice. Very hard workers and wonderful food.

The service was ok. The chips and salsa were better then alot of mexican places. I ordered shrimp enchiladas and they were kind of over cooked. I was also bummed they didn't have black beans.

As a Texan, I have not been impressed with any of the Tex-Mex style places up in this area. La Tolteca is the best I have found. I really like their beans (this is a compliment of the highest order where I'm from), horchata, and chile verde. The staff are so incredibly kind and attentive. If you're going to indulge in a margarita, we like to do the jumbo Texas ones. They're top shelf and don't give this certified granny a hangover!
