Grama's Bakery

Lovely little hole-in-the-wall bakery with a friendly staff and a lovely selection of pastries: napoleons, eclairs, and turnovers to name a few. I had the custard napoleon, which was a dream: impossibly light and flakey dough with a cool, refreshing custard. I'll be coming back to try all the others!

Stopped by yesterday afternoon, after winning a gift card from the Prescott auction. It's a SUPER tiny bakery, that we drove by and almost decided not to go because we couldnt find. So glad we found it. The friendly young man that served us gave us his recommendation, and we tried a blueberry pastry that was AMAZING. We also had some very tasty brownies and coconut macaroons. We were able to watch a friendly woman making some croissants as well. Most of the items are $4 a piece and well worth it. Due to Covid-19 only one family may enter at a time, so we felt very safe as well.

My family members ordered a wedding cake from Grama’s and when they went to pick it up they were told it had already been picked up. This triggered a lot of stress and frantic panic on our part and at first we were told there was nothing to be done. It turned out that they had lost one cake order for the day and had mistakenly given the other party our cake. They rectified the situation by giving us a 10in, 3 layer cake entirely for free. The cake is delicious and we appreciated them owning the mistake and giving us a smaller replacement cake on very short notice.
