Great new place in downtown Poughkeepsie convenient to the Dutchess County Courthouse and the Civic Center. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. This is a good place for lawyers and other business people to meet over a meal or a delicious cup of coffee. Parking is available on the street and nearby municipal lot.

I ordered Cafe Sweet Spot over door dash. It arrived in a timely manner which was great but when i received the food I was not satisfied. The berries on my buttermilk pancakes were moldy and not fresh at all. The pancake was mealy. I also ordered a bacon egg and cheese and it tasted sweet and had cinnamon on the eggs assuming the grill was not cleaned prior to cooking the eggs.

The food was great. Tyrone the server gave us the best we have ever had!!! Great place. Nice to see people who work hard at what they do. No gimmicks, just good food and good service. Great banana pudding and French fries.

Food is great. Loved the light fixtures made from whisks in the dining area. My wife and I agree that we will definitely head back here and aim to have the next family brunch here too!

I had been a regular customer for this Cafe for a long while. But after asking multiple times for ketchup and extra sauces on the side, never coming in the bag, the final strike was when I was told I needed to pay for extra ice to turn a hot coffee to an iced. Never again. Good food, terrible service. Y’all could really use some lessons in hospitality.

I had a few samples of their Frenchees at the PKGO event on Tuesday. IT WAS SO GOOD. I can't wait to come in and sample the rest of the menu. The man setting up the table was also super personable. I look forward to many visits to Cafe Sweet Spot.

Very spacious restaurant and ample parking on the street. The food was unique and delicious. I went for the first time and ate from their brunch menu. Will visit again and try their dinner menu.
