Plaza Vazquez

My spouse and I went to Plaza Vazquez today (Feb 2022), and the food was great! It's hard to find quality vegetarian Mexican food, but this restaurant had a whole section of vegetarian plates for us to enjoy. We both had the vegan burritos, and we really enjoyed the variety of tasty vegetables they put in there. The spicy salsa was so good we actually bought a little cup of it to take home with us. The atmosphere was nice, and the staff were pleasant and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic and affordable Mexican food, especially if you're vegetarian!

I wholeheartedly agree with everything my son posted. As a mom, I cook with the most fresh and best ingredients. That's exactly the same philosophy of the chef/owner, and you taste it!! Some might say I'm picky, but yeah, I'm picky! Plaza Vazquez exceeded my high expectations. I had the chicken fajitas and couldn't finish everything. Great portions and excellent as leftovers! We'll be back!

This place is fantastic! I ordered a burrito with pulled chicken and it’s everything I could’ve asked for, chicken was seasoned well and cooked to perfection, my friend got the quesadilla with pulled pork and hasn’t stopped taking about how amazing it was since he finished, the staff was so polite and super helpful, I’ll definitely be a returning customer :)))))))

5 stars after my first dining experience and meeting the chef / owner! This place is exactly what I look for. The grills turn on when you order - meaning your food is made fresh, and to order. My family can be a little picky, but everything came out just as we'd envisioned with the chef. She was extremely helpful making sure we could try everything since we could not decide. I went with carnitas sopes and guac and chips. The tortilla chips were fried there on site, guac was fresh and packed with fresh cilantro and onions, and my Sopas were fried and stacked exactly how they needed. BYOB and sit outside. Come here for a laid back meal cooked with kindness and personality. Talk to the chef / owner because she is passionate about her food and made us feel at home. This restaurant is a gem.

My family and I ate here tonight and it was phenomenal! We have been looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant and Plaza Vazquez is it. The food was amazing and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the empanadas, steak tacos, and Chile Relleno. The beans and rice were some of the best we've ever had. We're looking forward to returning and trying more of their dishes.
