Tgi Friday's Pottstown

I wish my wife and I had a positive experience,but we didn't. Went tonight on 2/16,our waitress was Denise. She was nice at first,took our order and everything. Our son ate his meal,and waited 45 minutes for ours and never came out. The restaurant itself had 5 tables filled, people that came in after us got their food. I told our waitress to give us the bill for our sons food,keep in mind he's almost 2! Our waitress first told us the food is ready and she's going to the back to get it,I told her we just want our check. She goes to the back,talks to the manager,and comes out saying the food is almost ready that if we want it they can box it up. 2 different stories she gives us,the manager didn't have the decency to come over to us to let us know of anything. So,we end up paying $14 for fruit because that's all our son ate off the plate. To top it off,the waitress decides to give us attitude. Never again!

We come here often. Love their rewards app! Drinks can be hit or miss. I usually stick with the beer to avoid disappointment. Staff is usually pretty nice. Did wait awhile to have our server wait on us the last time, but once she did everything was fine. Food is good. I rarely run across something I didn't like. Kids like coming here too. All and all pretty good. Just watch the mixed drinks and service can be slow. So don't be in a rush 😉. But will go back and have.

For quality of food and quality of our waitress, I’d say 4 stars, but unfortunately, our food took an hour to come out from the kitchen. We were honestly ready to leave when our food finally came. Denise was a great waitress and was very apologetic but there was little she could do. The Hostess, Maria was also very friendly and chatted with us and our two kids for a bit as well. At no time were we ever visited by a manager to offer some kind of explanation or discount. The best our waitress could do was coupons for a free kids meal and free appetizer (for next time?). I know that’s not on her, it’s on management but something should have been comped tonight, IMHO. Unfortunately I will probably avoid this location in the future.

I've been many places and had many levels of service and I always seem to return to the establishments where the service no matter what tier of restaurant has that special personal experience. Took my family here for dinner and although we didn't order anything special but after the night my wife and felt like we had dined at a 5 star. Our server Maria was sensational! Her style, tone, attentiveness, awareness, response time and most of all care. It was overwhelming undeniable she cared we CHOSE to dine there and were sitting in her section. Customer service is an art and Maria gets it! I told her we haven't been there in five years and she will be the reason we come back again. Thank you for a wonderful evening Maria.

I have never experienced a more disappointing time in my entire life. I had the worst service of my life, took almost 30 min to receive my beer, so I went to the bar and ask for a refill and I was completely ignored for almost 15 more minutes. Then I continuously asked our server to speak to management and they proceeded to tell me the managers were "too busy" to come out and speak to me. This store needs some serious investigating because it does not look like there is any manager control or any control for that matter. This restaurant is running on a complete free for all and the managers are not contributing to making any type of change in a positive direction. Some serious change needs to happen.

First, our server Keri, was amazing. He was fun and attentive. The food however was awful. Of a party of 8 the appetizers took forever to come out and one quesadillas came out burnt. We had two people who ordered sandwiches and one came out with cold fries (Keri got new ones) and one never came for the entire hour and 20 minutes we were there. He brought out a replacement quesadilla at re end but it was also overdone. The kitchen staff needs to cook better. Like I said our server was great both the other servers we saw were rude. I will never go back.

This was the worst meal my family and I ever had. We had to wait 10 minutes for the drinks we ordered. We then waited a half an hour for the food. I ordered the fish n chips and got something that you can find in the frozen section of a supermarket. I paid $15 for that slop. My 3 sons (age 10,10 and 8) ordered mac n cheese off the children's menu and received a bowl that was around 1/4 full, it was about 3 tablespoons worth. Not enough to feed them. We asked for a manager and had to wait for him and he said the portion is what is set by the Corporate office. Just look at the picture on the website. My father in law's meal didn't even come out until after we were done.
