Timber Gastro Pub

What an excellent lunch today! Had not been previously, but received a gift certificate as a thank you and am so glad we did! The whole family enjoyed everything we got and there was definitely enough to have doggy bags for all of us. Not very busy for lunch so seating and service were quick. Stop in... it's worth it!

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Our visit was downhill after that. Apps were mediocre at best. Got the fried calimari and the rib tips/sausage plate. Fried calimari was pretty good til we hit a big clump completely raw in the middle. The ribs and sausage were ok. Nothing special. I ordered a pizza and my wife got the sirloin dip sandwich. My pizza was very tasty but had sat at the window for a bit so lost its crispness on the crust. My wife's sandwich had raw veggies instead of being sauteed and the sandwich itself was cold. Staff was a bit inexperienced and slow but very friendly.

Wow!!! I only wish I could give more than five stars!!! We happened across Timber Gastro Pub in Post Falls after running to Spokane. Best decision ever!!!! The decor is fun with wood planks, industrial lights and metal chairs, but it was the food that blew me away. I had the BEST burger I've ever had, have down. No contest. A week later, and my stomach growls at the memory. Their sandwiches and burgers (1/2lb, by the way) come with bottomless fries which are wonderful all by themselves. They are crispy and crunchy and airy and served with ketchup made at the restaurant. My husband had a bbq beef sandwich that he enjoyed immensely. They had an awesome beer selection as well. I loved the water bottles they had on each table-great touch! My only dismay is it is 45 minutes from my home. No matter, I WILL be returning, and soon!
