It was totally by accident we found Gilleys . I put in my gps what’s the closest place to eat. It came up with Gilleys. We stopped in this awesome tiny little place, ordered our food . People coming and going . The girl alone mind you behind the counter busting out food like crazy ( I’d never let her go) when we finally sat down to eat it was amazing. My favorite place to eat is Gilleys and I’m shouting it from the rooftops!!!!!!
Comfort food at its finest. A destination eatery, frequented on many a night in my well-spent youth when Ralph Gilbert worked his wizardry when it was parked in Market Square, in my adventurous advanced age I still make the pilgrimage. One always gets a great dog and delicious beans at Gilley's. Though I am kind of old school and go there primarily to feast on the hot dogs, my girls always enjoyed the cheesy fries. Whether with my mom or my kids, you just can't beat Gilley's

This small 8 stool diner is absolutely amazing! My husband and I ate late night (our first time ever) and was greeted by Arlene with a smile who then took our order and then cooked it! We had double cheese burgers add bacon with “everything” , Poutine (was super cheesy and delicious without being soggy) and the chili cheese fries (full of flavor!). Really enjoyed the history and overall vibe of the place. Will definitely be back to check out with our kids :) Picnic Table’s are set outside when the weather gets nice adding more room for service. Take out available but can not call ahead and no delivery services which is understandable for place this size.
If it is late at night or if you're a little drunk there is nothing a burger or hot dog can't fix. Small menu, no frills but if you need something greasy then grab a bite to go.
The cutest! Loved the food and the prices. Friendly service. Quick and simple but delicious, will be back over and over again.
Prior to the Covid, these guys were the best post bar scene stop over who served fresh off the grill bites of heaven. The staff runs a sharp program doing all they can to get everyone's orders accurately served. As you can imagine, drunk customers require a special kind of tolerance but also offer a unique ambiance to the last call crowd because you never know what's going to happen or be said. It's always worth the wait.
