Subway

Would give 0 ⭐ if I could. Update:: I received an email from a Teresa Sargent. I was offered to have the order remade at no cost. I called today 12/23 and was told that I was supposed to come in yesterday. It had to be done by yesterday. The lady had a very rude tone. I asked if I could speak to a manager because the email I received did not say I had to pick up the order by yesterday. The lady said I am the manager. I was shocked. She is so rude. No customer service skills whatsoever. I told her I would contact corporate and her tone changed to friendly. I hung up on her. If you don't like your job get a new one. This store is a joke rude staff and managers. Also could use a good deep cleaning. They mess up orders then act bothered when they are supposed to fix it. Do not recommend this Subway. Manager needs serious customer service training......... Placed a pick up order for the Baja chicken bacon melt. When I got home I removed the food from the bag and it was steak. No chicken. No bacon. The whole reason I ordered it was for the chicken and bacon. Very disappointed

My wife and I have been coming to this Subway here in Portland IN for several years. It always has very good, polite, prompt service. The place is always clean. And the food always fresh and delicious. Cheapest meal anywhere that definitely fills me up. I usually get a 6 inch sub. If my wife and I want the same thing then we get a foot long and then make it a meal with chips and a drink. Where else can u get a sandwich with whatever u want and whatever u want on it and however much of each add on u want. Made fresh in front of u. Not some unidentifiable processed meat made how they want to make it. It used to be Burger Things motto...' have it your way '. They don't even ask u anymore.

The town isn't great, but the Subway may be the bright spot. They have an up and coming Assistant Manager named Comet Garlinger and she will treat you right. She is a little loud and annoying but means well and is very friendly. Make sure she gives you a full footlong and doesn't try to sneak in any of that 11 in bread.

I had a bad experience today at the Subway in Portland, Indiana. I asked for extra lettuce on my sandwich and the worker got angry and threw my sandwich around. She then proceeded to bag it and that’s when my boyfriend expressed that he was not paying for a sub that was put together so poorly by someone with an awful attitude. When I got home, I was harassed online by the worker. I am so incredibly upset about this experience because I used to love out little town Subway.
