Perfectly fine location with modern dark wood / Starbucks furnishings. Store overlooks Director (Plaza) Park and is near the Fox Tower cinemas and inside Portland's retail core. Employees are courteous on my visits. Door could be a bit difficult to navigate for those in a wheelchair or with disabilities.

In my previous town I had "my Starbucks" and it wasn't until I started coming to this store that I found "my store". I frequent it multiple times a week and while it can be busy, especially when it's sunny, the rushes are always manageable. Kraig and the rest of the partners have become friends to me and it's always a great way to spend a break from the office.

We needed to kill some time on a hot evening before heading east to dinner, the airport and Virginia. Most coffee shops in downtown Portland close at six, but this one closed at seven. It was clean and had an open outlet so we could charge our phones. The coffee was exactly what you would expect. If you get a seat looking out towards the park, there will probably be something to watch.
