Old Port Sandwich Shop

Old Port Sandwich Shop on Market Street in Portland is a good place to get a sandwich, drink, or snack. I enjoyed my lunch here as everything was very fresh and tasty. They did a good job of preparing everything and were very efficient at getting the order ready. The service was efficient and friendly as we were helped right away and were given everything that we needed in a short amount of time. I really liked the vibe and atmosphere here as it was relaxed and comfortable. I had a good time eating here and had a smile on my face when I left and felt great.

Holy cow. I have never had a sub so delicious as here. This is a place where the staff is super friendly and welcoming. When you are done eating here you walk out with a spring in your step feeling wonderful not bloat d like other places where you want to take a nap. I travel 3 hours to eat here because the food is that good. A must stop in for anyone.

Chicken pesto Panini was delicious! As the menu is full of about 40 different sandwiches, wraps, paninis and salads all with make your own options there is something for everyone here, but the menu can be overwhelming. The shop is small and fairly plain, but the large windows making up one wall create a cozy space when the sun is shining. Slow service and lack of comfy space to wait make me reluctant to go back until I need a place with that many options.

Stopped in to get lunch and some change for the meter. Walked in, was the only person in there besides one employee. Although she was very clearly not doing anything she told me she wouldn't be able to give me change for 1$ because there are "banks all over the place". She was so rude I didnt even order anything, I felt so uncomfortable. Probably never gonna go back.
