Fresh with great flavours & presentation of all our food. Our food arrived in timely manner through out the meal. Our server provided really good service. Quality experience all around... meal was worth every penny. Best sushi I have had in a long while. Thank you- Yosaku; You did not disappoint.

Summer time sushi. This a fun little place to eat sushi in the warmer weather, outside, on the deck, by the bonsai garden/fountain. There were little birds splashing around in the water and it made my day. Good sushi too.

My husband and I have tried every sushi place in Portland, and by far this is the freshest place. We always come back here and are never disappointed. The chefs are fast, accurate and personable, as well as the wait staff. There isn't enough good things to say about Yosaku. :) Higly recommend.

Always fresh, excellent prompt service, and never dissatisfied. My husband and I have been to all the sushi restaurants in Portland. Time and time again we always come back here. Just excellent.

In my humble opinion Yosaku takes top place amongst Portland's competitive Japanese restaurant scene. The food and atmosphere are far better than Ben Kay, Sapporo, Fuji or newly opened Kon. The owner/head sushi chef has spent much time in Portland working his way up the ladder. The hard work and dedication is apparent in his dishes.

Yosaku didn't have any fancy presentations but it was probably some of the best sushi I've had in awhile. The fish was fresh as it is to be expected in Portland. The service was warm and attentive. And this meal fulfilled our sushi craving that evening.

Everyone from my work is always eating here for lunch, so of course I had to try it. I ordered the spicy tuna and the salmon with avocado. The tuna color was so beautiful and it tasted amazing with some soy sauce! I also loved the flavor of the salmon with the avocado! The tuna as not too spicy, but the perfect level for me. I was amazed at the great prices of the lunch specials! This was such a treat and I savored every single bite! I will definitely be returning here soon for a filling lunch. I am excited to try more of their menu as well!

Stellar sushi and authentic Japanese food mixed with more modern fare. Great outdoor seating area that could use some gas heaters, but we sat inside this time. You’ll definitely need a reservation as it’s always busy. The service was good and accurate; no issues! The prices are in line with most sushi places in the area ($30 for a nigiri box with miso soup & salad). I’ve been here a couple times and will definitely be back!

It’s the place you enjoy a really authentic Japanese sushi with great fresh ingredients. The owner is Japanese and has run the business for decades so it’s outstanding and trustworthy. I enjoy only Nigiri not a roll sushi here when I come here from Cambridge MA. 2 hours drive is worth it.

Amazing cocktails, great service, incredibly fast, and the best sushi I’ve ever had. The pork dumplings and veggie tempera were also out of this world. Can’t recommend enough!
