Portland Pie Company

My office highly recommended the pizza from Portland Pie Co, and boy did they deliver. Ordered on a Friday at 5 and picked up at 5:40. The bartender who greeted me was incredibly nice and even allowed me to add a to go beverage. The food as seen in the pictures was delicious. The nachos are loaded! See you soon for our next pizza night. Kudos to a great staff as well. 👏

Edit: I feel the need to clarify my comment about the crust. There was nothing wrong with how it was made, I think. I just wanted it to be better. A lot of people seem to like it, but it just seemed like it could have been crispier on the outside and chewier on the inside. It seemed kind of dense and soft but like it's probably just how this style of crust is. I really want this place to be better. The salad was really fresh and good. The spinach artichoke dip was clearly refrigerated or frozen because we had to have it reheated but I don't really expect anyone to make that to order and it was good; lots of spinach and artichoke. The pizza toppings were good. There's just something not right with the crust.

This place is GREAT! The food is absolutely delicious, if you eat in the atmosphere is wonderful, and if you order take out it is ready right on time and piping hot. We're vegan, and they make one of the best vegan pizzas we've ever eaten. But even better than all that are the staff and the service they provide. They truly go above and beyond. I can't say enough good things about Portland Pie. Eat there yourself and you will see what I mean. Highly recommended!

By far the biggest waste of money on this entire trip. Everything on this menu is frozen, you could achieve the same result by going to the grocery store and throwing everything in the oven. Positively foul and honestly now I’m worried I might get food poisoning. Incredibly overpriced and the fries are the worst I’ve ever had (that includes jail food) seriously regret ordering from this place. Not even going to save it, trash it is.

I love their pizza and their service but what they did today (my last visit was 5 months ago) is unacceptable. Their website says they close at 9pm so I got there at 7:15pm and they told me to sit anywhere. When I’ve been seating for 5-8 minutes, the server comes and tells me that at 7pm the kitchen closed early due to staff. I understand closing early and even 2 full hours, but letting me seat and expect service to then tell me that their kitchen is closed, that’s just wrong.
