My daughter took me out to DiMillo's yesterday for my birthday. I've been coming here for years or at least whenever i lived in state. Having moved back over four years ago i've had the opportunity to come back several times and every time the service has been superb and the food excellent. The steamed mussels were tender and the lobster stew incredible.

Highly Recommend! We didn't have a reservation, but they got us in right away. The service was great and the food was amazing! We had clam chowder, french onion soup, lobster stew, bacon wrapped scallops, and salad to start. Mom opted for the lazy lobster, which she said was great. My brother and I both went for the deep fried lobster, and if you've never tried it you definitely need to! The views were nice too. Overall just an excellent dining experience!

Food was great, staff was incredibly pleasant and the view was remarkable. The music is a fantastic mix of older classic rock and the atmosphere is not overwhelming; nor loud or chaotic. The bar is incredibly clean with apx 30 seats; perfect for single folks traveling for work or leisure. I’ve traveled all over the country and for what this place has to offer, the prices are beyond reasonable. I’m an exceptionally picky woman and although the steak isn’t Japanese A5 Wagu (obviously) it’s well above par if you take into consideration the overall “experience” you’re getting!

DiMillo's exceeded our expectations in every way.
My goal was to overindulge in lobster and the "Lazy Lobster Admiral Portion" did exactly that. The best gravy for the mashed potatoes I've ever had.
My wife ordered the "Lobster Mac & Cheese" and its in a league of its own, total flavor bomb.
Iko our waiter made the experience unforgettable with his professionalism, knowledge of the menu and friendly demeanor.
We enjoyed everything about our experience and will dine here each time we are in the area.
Thank you for creating an ideal dining atmosphere and hiring top notch people to deliver unforgettable experiences.

I came here for dinner at 7:30 and got seated in less than half hour. We had bread for an appetizer and then got our drinks. It’s so cool in here and the tables are spaced out, and it feels so roomy. The restaurant was on a boat, it only rocked once or twice but not bad at all. I totally recommend!!

Atmosphere is nice. However, you can eat the same kinda food at any place that sells seafood.
Very pricey for what it is. If you wanna place to spend some of your inheritance money this is the spot!!! Everyone else here does and they even bring their boats to show off. Thanks again Mom and Dad for the good life!!!

This is one of the places in downtown Portland that is in fact worth the hype. The long waits and buzz around this restaurant were surprisingly true. I am usually skeptical about places like this, as they rarely live up to the hype. However, this evening all aspects of dinner were great. Some of the dishes tried at my table were the clam chowder, fried lobster tails, prime rib, lobster roll, and the lobster mac and cheese (my personal favorite). The deserts were also good as we tried the blueberry cobbler. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the boat was decorated very nicely as well. I look forward to returning in the future.

Big portions (and big prices). Experience was good, went during the end of April before the big tourist season really began. Had no issue finding a good table and not overly crowded at 5pm for a group of 5 for the main dining area.we ordered 2 salmon dishes, a salad, seafood platter and kids chicken nuggets. My youngest summed it up when she got hers and exclaimed, "I'm so glad they served enough food on a kids meal and didn't assume all kids have two inch stomachs". All portions seemed pretty big compared to other restraunts we have been to in the past. All food tasted great and we brought home quite a bit to make room for chocolate cake and blueberry cobbler a la mode, both which were good. The waitstaff seemed nice and the ship seemed well maintained. Overall, we are glad we chose to dine here.

A great setting with wonderful food. The staff was amazing and attentive.
Sam C was our waitress and had a knack of being there when we needed something without hovering.
Had bacon wrapped scallops as our appetizer, that melted in your mouth. There were more than enough (8) for 2 people.
For dinner we had Pecan Encrusted Stuffed Haddock and Maple Glazed Salmon over risotto with cranberries and walnuts. She couldn't finish the salmon and I shouldn't have finished the haddock. It was too good to leave and couldn't take a doggie bag because we were riding a motorcycle.
The cost was more than reasonable for the amount of food and the quality.

We usually love when we go here. We work hard and we like to play hard and enjoy good food and drinks. We looked forward to treating our daughter for lunch before a Sea Dogs game yesterday. Food was great and the valet service was top notch. However, our service was anything but. She came once to take our drink order, brought my wine, came back with our food and I asked for another wine. She never returned. We went through our whole meal with empty water glasses. When she brought our bill I was charged for the second glass of wine i never received. I brought it to her attention, she grabbed the bill without any apology and brought it back without a word. This was very unfortunate as we love going dining here. Next time I think we will venture off and try someplace new.

Excellent. Liked the food. It’s in the higher price side BUT it’s worth the visit. Excellent food quality and service. Complimentary Vallet parking. If I am at Portland I am sure to visit the restaurant again. Highly recommend. Loved it!!

A unique setting with good food. Dawn was our waitress and was attentive without hovering.
We had appetizers late in the evening. The meatball and sauce was very good. The clam chowder had cooked down and was more like a stew that late in the night.
The blueberry cobbler was served in a side dish and looked diminutive in the setting. It was good - but small. Better to serve in a ramekin or similar.
The cost was reasonable for 2 drinks, 2 apps and a dessert - $60.00 considering the location.

Always amazing. Great food and service every time we’ve gone to Dimillo’s. I highly recommend the top deck on a nice day.

We arrived just in time to get seated to where we liked. Started with calamari bruschetta - serving was plentiful and tastes super. And we ordered what we came for - baked Maine lobster! Love it to the last piece. You can taste the freshness and it is very good.
I forgot the name of our server - she is super! Highly recommended. I think the price is reasonable.

My husband and I are visiting from New York and we went here the other night for dinner. The food was absolutely amazing. The seafood surpassed our expectations. Definitely recommend to anyone in the Portland area who wants quality food at a reasonable price!

Love the food best I had in Portland far as baked. Service was great. Nice place to eat parking easy also.

We waited a super long time for food. My husband’s burger with calamari was cold. The kids had the better fresher food. The iced tea tasted the Lipton you just mix in. Server was not attentive at all.

Food and service was awesome. Best seafood ever! The whole atmosphere of being on a boat on the water was so relaxing! Service was excellent and we were seated in a timely
fashion. The place was packed to say the least. Will go there many times in the future!

My first time there but won’t be the last. Amazing customer service from valet parking to the waitress. Only negative is I loved dining upstairs but my husband is handicapped and never would have made it up those stairs. Great view and experience

My wife and I went at 630 pm, wait was about 30 minutes. We were seated on the top deck facing the water. Staff was very attentive, food was great. We will definitely return.

We have been several times and find their lobster stew and french onion soup to be among the best we've had anywhere. My wife enjoys seafood while I prefer filet mignon. Dining on great food overlooking Casco Bay is a priceless dining experience.

Great lobster club sandwich, my friend said scallops we're delicious...her cheesy polenta was yummy and the potato salad was great too. Nice service, beautiful view, friendly waitress with good local brew recommendations. Will definitely go back for lunch as it's served til 4:00pm and the prices are reasonable.
