We went here on a whim for our anniversary dinner. It did not disappoint! We got a five star dining experience at an excellent value. The food was amazing. For an appetizer we had the cod fritters. Our main course was the bolognese and the pasta rosso. We paired it with their Greek white wine. Lastly, we finished with their marscapone cheesecake. Everything was amazing! I'm not usually crazy about bolognese, but that dish was perfect. The cheesecake was also perfectly light and delicious. On top of the amazing food, the server was super professional and nice. He made it feel like a very high class restaurant, which was a nice ambiance for our anniversary. Overall, I can't speak highly enough about this restaurant. If there was a six star option, they would get it.

The service was great with attentive, inviting, and informative staff. All around, a great dining experience. We had the Grilled Octopus as an appetizer, which was fresh and tasty. The marinated Bistro steak was well seasoned with a delicious potato gratin. The pork chop was also delicious. Lastly, the Mascarpone cheesecake was the best cheesecake I've ever had in my life. Definitely recommend.

Went here for dinner, has a beautiful, cozy interior. Had an amazing cocktail called the Castaway. Menu was fairly priced and everything was delicious. Had the best steak I’ve had in a while. Definitely check this place out for a nice dinner and solid menu all around.

Overall great experience. We ordered the octopus appetizer and pork chop. Both were some of the best we’ve ever had. Service was excellent. Every neighborhood should have a cute bistro like Isa.

This restaurant is special. We sat inside and enjoyed the tile floors and Tim roof which gave it a classic feel. There is outdoor dining available. The ingredients were selected with care as was the service. Available but not oppressive. We had a salad and chose the ribs and linguine dish. Bother we’re flavorful and well presented. If you have the opportunity, dinner here is quite wonderful.

This is now my favorite restaurant in Portland! Parking is no problem and free, small & intimate, excellent service and always greeted immediately upon entering. Price point is incredibly reasonable for what you get and quality of food is excellent. I had the grilled octopus for a starter, Bolognese for my main meal (portion was a lot of food) and enjoyed a wonderful desert. My husband had the eggplant lasagna and said it was the best he has ever had. My cosmo was perfect! You can enjoy a table in the dining room or sit at the bar. I would highly recommend! You can’t go wrong with this place. Enjoy!

Can't believe we've never been before. Very comfortable room, attention to cleanliness is apparent. Well-trained (or well-learned, though I would rather it be well-trained) staff. Our server was good, personable, fairly on-spot. What can really set service apart however, is nuance. Very small example: discussing drinks with our server, I let them know I 'hate' lime. When delivering our appetizer, lime was a garnish. Not a problem at all, but given I that I had mentioned my dislike for lime, it seems natural that a server might ask the kitchen to not include lime. Again, less than important, but personalization per table is what can differentiate good service from excellent service. That they asked about food sensitivities was good, just not complete. Course timing was very good, but general timing just a step off. Steaks were great, perfect temps. Fantastic dessert. We will be back.
