7-eleven

I have been going in to this store for 6 years ever since I moved right up the street. I go in at least 10 times a month often more so. Sonny and the other daytime guy whose name I’ve forgotten have always been friendly and efficient. Until today... I was buying my cold brew coffee which I thought was $1 as it’s been $1 up until a few days ago. They were out of black cold brew so I settled on the mocha. When he rang it up it was $1.69 I had to run out to my car for more money as I thought it was $1. I was trying to ask him if the black cold brew was $1.69 as well or if the .69 cent increase was only the mocha. Before I could get that out her snapped at me, scolded me and was loud. I have a cognitive disability that is severe enough the social security administration has deemed me disabled. Perhaps my communication is annoying or difficult to understand, but it isn’t rude or obnoxious and in no way warrants being treated the way he treated me. I will NEVER go back to this store. It really saddens me as I have built a relationship with the employees here and felt comfortable going to this store.

Staff has always been really nice to me and my kiddo. Always treated me with respect. I mean, it's 7 Eleven..what is the difference between one and the other? The staff. So, that is mainly what I am commenting on as the rest is about what you expect. I suppose I could say the hot dogs are great, they all do a good job and this location just does what they all do just as well, if not a smidge better. But, the people have always been kind, that's what I will remember most!

I go to this location pretty regularly and the workers are mostly friendly. This morning was a bit of a shock to me when the male employee in the backwards baseball hat started yelling at this lady. I didn’t see her do anything bad, she seemed to be confused about the price on something. Anyway it made me really uncomfortable. I’m not sure I’ll go back when that guy is working,

Before going to turn in cans at 7am I asked (without cans) "do you guys take can deposits?" I was told that they do. So I went home which was quite literally down the street; not even a block away. Came back with the cans and was told "we don't take them till 11" this baffled me. Because the 7/11 on se122nd and Market takes cans all hours. Understandable that they're in different locations. But they're still the same company. Same company, same policies, 24 hour service. There should be no reason as to why someone can't donate $2.50 at a 24 hour CONVINCE store.
