I visited The Pharmacy recently to watch a Blazers' game and enjoyed the experience very much. The bar has an open format with large windows facing both Glisan Street and 21st Avenue. While I was having some delicious pulled pork sliders, the barkeep took the time to introduce me to another patron who was also a basketball fan. I appreciated the friendly gesture and the overall inviting atmosphere of this bar and plan to return soon.

Always friendly service. They accommodate odd sports requests, like curling. And best yet, remember that you are a curling fan the next time you come in and will ask if they could find a tournament for you to watch. Burgers are good, too.

Killer whiskey bacon burger! The caramelized onions are are dark as the thick cut bacon, just the way it should be! And the onion rings might be some of the best I've had!
