Great food, very snotty service, okay prices. Our waitress was very rude and we noticed when someone else came in, that she gushed and oohed and aahed all over them and yet she could not be bothered with getting me a second cup of coffee. And every word that came out of her mouth to us was just said in a scathing tone as if we were not worthy of being on the sole of her shoe. I always loved bar Carlo until this visit. Now, I don't know if I will ever go back.

Adorable place for brunch. I came here with a friend on a Tuesday morning and there were only a couple of other patrons so plenty of seating. Their house specialty Mai Tai was billed as tall and strong which mine definitely was. My companion took advantage of the complimentary coffee and said it was quite good quality and strongly brewed. I ordered a large spring mix salad which came with a delicious lemon vinaigrette. I ordered two poached eggs to mix in with my salad and they were cooked just barely too long. My friend ordered their egg breakfast plate which had two eggs, s spicy (mole?) sauce, seasoned rice, black beans (which were fabulous,) tortillas, and some pickled onion and jalepeno based relish. Very nice place. I'd love to come back when it's a little more busy to really get that "brunch" experience.
