I got the chicken laab with purple glutinous rice (and cucumber slices), it was absolutely incredible!! Perfect flavor combo, textures, mix of chewy and crispy, fresh and wholesome. Could eat this every day for the rest of my life.
This place is delicious. Hmong food is hard to find in PDX. I am from the twin cities, MN, where Hmong culture/food/people are part of what makes home, home. This food made me miss home! I got the Larb with purple sticky rice. I will be back!
My favorite food truck of all time.
While not every dish is 10/10, that may just be due to my preferences for certain dishes. Most dishes are easily 10/10.
If it didn’t come with sacrifices to the excellent consistency, I would love to try new dishes - Teng truly has a masterful palette, but specials and new additions to the menu are incredibly rare.
While the inflation-driven cost increases do sting a bit, I have no problem paying whatever Teng charges - the dishes are really that good (and he is very conscientious about any price increases, so you know you’re not being gouged).
I just wish more people knew of Nam Pa and this cart pod in general - it truly deserves more traffic.
This food is delicious! The special was green curry and I loved it! I added chicken for an extra $2. It was a large bowl of food with plenty of noodles, fresh vegetables, egg, meat, and curry. I'm excited to go back and try the rest of the menu!
The food here never disappoints. Every item is consistently delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The owner is both talented and incredibly friendly:)
Nam Pa is incredible! The green curry is the best curry I've had in years, it warmed my soul on a cold winter day. The ingredients were so bright and fresh, the egg was perfect, and the sweet potatoes were melt-in-your-mouth tender. The fried brussel sprouts were also spectacular! Every item on the menu is very fairly priced. I can't wait to come back and try the kapoon curry!
Everything we have ordered here has been delicious. We love the BBQ pork, red curry, fried brussels, and papaya salad, and wings in particular. You can choose your spice level. Don’t order spicy if you can’t take the heat!
Ordered the fried brussel sprouts and stuffed wings with the spicy sauce and purple sticky rice. Yummy
