Starbucks

I visit this Starbucks several times each month, and sometimes several times a week. I almost always walk in, and I’ve had a few instances where I was not able to access the indoor space on foot. Worry not,as I’ve been able to walk the drive-through or call in to let them know I had a mobile pick up order. I absolutely love the staff here and they treat my dog so wonderfully every time.

A good Starbucks. They have a smaller interior space than many but still have a bar for 8 to 10 patrons and takes for six (or three on laptops). Bathrooms are clean. Staff are really friendly (they even gave me table service with my twins). They have a parking lot for six cars (one handicap) and a drive thru. They are transit friendly with two bus stops close by.

I've been sitting here in the cafe for about 2 hours and since arriving, I have not been able to get myself to get up and order anything because I have seen several workers use their phones, pick up stuff off the floor, touch their hair, face, and headsets, etc. and continue working without washing their hands. As a foodservice manager myself, this is super concerning as far as sanitation goes and.... OH MY GOD. I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS. A RAT JUST RAN OUT FROM UNDERNEATH THE FRIDGES WHILE I WAS WRITING THIS REVIEW. I ran out the second I saw it, but I CANNOT MAKE THIS UP. I am completely appalled and extremely concerned.

I’ve been coming to this location for the past 3 years everyday almost because it’s close to my house. I think maybe they have a new staff but they don’t seem to be training them vey well. Last week I went through the drive through and ordered a large and the barista made my drink size wrong twice before she finally made it the right size and then I ended up having two extra coffees in my car which I’m not really complaining about. It was more about the fact I had to sit at the window for 20 minutes waiting to get the right size drink and they kept handing me smalls. There was only one other person in the drive through and lobby was empty so they weren’t in any kind of rush it’s just terrible training and communication I think. And then today I went there and got a caramel frap and they put Carmel ON THE OUSIDE OF THE CUP. It was literally dripping down the lady's hand when she handed it to me and then she just closed the window while I was asking for a napkin. Won’t be going here again lol🥴 I usually don’t make complaints because I worked in fast food before but the staff here now is just genuinely very lazy and weird. Makes sense as to why they only have 2 stars on yelp now
