Wow, our new favorite BBQ joint! I had catering for about 30 from Texas spit BBQ for my husband's birthday -- brisket, chicken, beans, greens, cornbread and slaw. We loved every bit of it and so did our guests! Charles was great to work with in the ordering process, helping me figure out how much to order of each item. Prices were very affordable, and we ended up with the perfect amount of food -- just a bit of leftovers for us to enjoy the next day! Everything was ready when we picked it up, and they were all helpful and friendly. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth good, the greens were laced with shredded meat, the cornbread was moist and sweet, and the coleslaw was gone before I could go back for seconds. We would definitely cater with them again and will go back just for a personal dinner. Highly recommend!

Delicious is right! I've had the smoked brisket, the baby back ribs and the smoked turkey legs. And I've had them more than once because they'really all SO GOOD. Baked beans, corn and coleslaw also very tasty. Love the homemade peach cobbler too. I made chili with the leftover smoked brisket. What a great flavor! My only complaint is that they're only open Wednesday through Saturday!

Great BBQ in SW Portland. I tried their pork ribs and brisket with corn and coleslaw. The meat was fantastic. Smoky and tender. Coleslaw was good. I wouldn't get the corn on the cob again, but they have plenty of other sides.

Everything was horrible. The meat was fatty, the menu was geared towards a group purchase instead of a single customer, and I could swear the beans came out of a can. I was excited to see a BBQ place so close by, but unfortunately I'll never be trying it again.
