Delicious. Fresh and tasty. The bahn mi isn’t on traditional bread ( i liked it ) GF was not a fan. Good service. Patio can be entertaining if you are comfortable enough to send the riff raft on their way. Great vibes inside, locally owned and a photo booth!

I'm not from Portland but if I were this would be my local go to bar. The drinks are perfection and the local laid back live music only adds to the atmosphere. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable and recommended a fantastic local rye whiskey for my old fashion. Definitely check this place out.

Dropped in to grab a drink in the late afternoon. The place is very dark and dive-ish. I was greeted by "happy hour" prices that barely put them on par with normal costs. Server was very inattentive despite few people being present. The well choices are poor and my cocktail was very weak for $10. Curry fries tasted like MSG. People who work for the establishment were being rude and boisterous to homeless on the street. I will not be coming back. (The nasty menu on the photo made a sticky "pop" when I lifted it up to look at it... Disgusting) EDIT TO ADDRESS NASTY REPLY FROM OWNER: 1) This review was posted several days after I came in, as is standard practice for the case of this type of reply exactly. The weather was fair, barely breaking 80. The picture posted shows how dark it was. 2&3) $4 wells are the norm for brands you offer, which are the same as any cheap dive nearby. $10 for a basic dry martini that tasted like tons of cheap vermouth. 4) The curry fries, or asian fries or whatever you called them tasted like they'd just been nuked out of the freezer and had cheap flavor put on top. And yes, the taste of MSG is very distinct. 5) In regards to the incident in question, the homeless person was in front of the establishment and made no attempt to enter. He was aggravated by staff who followed him at least 20 feet beyond the front of the business making jeering remarks. 6) There's a reason I didn't rest my hands on the bar. It was disgusting. and the curry fries were listed at the bottom of a very old, nasty, gnarly looking menu. Even the little menus in plastic (the one that made the 'pop' when lifted) were gross, stained, crinkled from moisture and age which you can see that in the photo as well! The bartender, who was a male, was nowhere to be found most of the time. Not only did I not have any "free tastes", I didn't even have whiskey. Shame on whoever posted such a terrible and ill-thought-out reply.

Great local spot with beer and liquor. Great area to feel old town Portland. Food options are unique and delicious, small plates to full meals. The staff are fun and have much to share.

Wonderful Filipino small plates, and try the hot buttered whiskey. Man oh man is it inspired. It was a little chilly inside when we were there, but that's why we have jackets.

I was happy to hear about #filipinoeatsweek but wasn't so happy about the flavors. It wasn't as authentic as I hope it would be.

It's a bar - kind of like any other in downtown Portland. They offer a decent variety of beers and mixed drinks at Portland's typical high prices. The gourmet appetizers were good, and the overall place was fine for a happy hour with coworkers.
